Experienced, Professional, and Kind
Dr. Fox is incredibly experienced and knowledgeable about complex co-morbid conditions that I think most psychiatrists don't have enough experience in. He was very kind and professional - I have seen him over the years for some pretty intense and overwhelming issues - and he has helped me tremendously and was there when I was concerned I was having an allergic reaction to a medication. His offices are great and it is evident he truly wants to help and is more than capable of helping a wide variety of conditions.

Terrible experience, DO NOT use this doctor
Dr. Fox seems like a nice guy, but... - I reached out when I was almost out of medicine, and his staff said that I "really need to make another appointment first." It took me 3-4 interactions, including scheduling an appointment, before they would actually acknowledge my request for refills. I mentioned it in each of my replies, and they seemed to ignore it - When I brought this up with him, he said "well you have to stay on top of that, you have to make appointments," basically brushing me off entirely. Oh and remember, _I'm_ the one with a serious mental health problem - He lost my chart after our first visit where I gave him my whole spiel - On our second visit he didn't remember we had met, didn't have my chart, so I had to do my whole spiel again - Doesn't seem to know what medication I'm supposed to be taking - Doesn't seem to really listen to me, or review my chart before meeting with me. Asks the same questions each time we meet, as if this is all new information to him. I'm su

I've been with Dr. Fox for 27 years, now, and I love him!! He is very professional, but he also truly cares. And he listens. I'd say he is moderate to conservative with prescribing meds--he doesn't simply prescribe the newest med to come along. He does his homework. If I want to change a med, we talk about it. If I have good reasons, he will usually listen to me. If he wants to change a med, we talk about it and then, unless I have a good reason not to, we make the change. It really is a partnership. We've had our ups and downs--like any good partnership--but I'm really glad I stuck it out through the bad times. I would recommend him to almost anyone.

I have been seeing dr. Fox for 7-8 years. He is nothing short of exceptional ! He has treated myself and my son, with care and guidance, through very hard times. He asks the right questions and DOES care about his patients! I will continue to see him as long as he is in practice.

Extremely disappointed, been paying full price out of pocket (no insutance)$85 for 10-15 of his time just to up dose of same meds. Had stomach flu, got the night before appt called to cancel didn't think he wanted me throwing up in his high class office. Got a bill for 40 late cancellation fee. Unbelievable. Purely wants money, does not care about patient just getting green even if your not there and sick. Very disappointed.

I have seen Dr. Fox for a few years. He is calm and measured in his approach. He is conscientious and courteous. Keeps a very calming and pleasant office environment. He seemed to have a good handle on what was going on with me early on and has improved my situation considerably through the medications he has prescribed. He is not afraid to change course or try new things. Medications are his primary tool. Visits are quite short, but I rather like them that way. Runs on time.
