I always wanted to thank you! I never got to from NJ. My son Jason had 2nd rarest metabolic condtion Pyruvate Carboxylase Deficiency and U put VP shunt in at age 2.5. He lived to be age 22. Dr. Ruzicka is an aggressive surgeon. After being told by him that we needed to get open head surgery on my 4 month old within 3 weeks or risk permanent damage we decided to get a second opinion. I wasn't able to confirm any of the risks that he mentioned in my own research. The second neurologist we went to had never heard of what Dr. Ruzika was describing. I talked with other pediatricians and found our he is known as the most aggressive neurosurgeon in the state! Beware his thirsty pocketbook

Dr.Ruzicka was amazing at fitting us in the schedule. Once the doctor seen my sons MRI he fit hi in the next day. He spent lots of time with us and was so thorough in what our next steps would be in the future. He may have saved my sons life.
