Rude and Thinks everyone is FAT
I saw Dr. Airel when he was at Nellis. His response to everything is you are overweight or obese. He believes excess calories causes all gastro issues. Rude and does not listen to patient. If he only listened, he would realize some of the issues started before I gained weight. Glad he is no longer in the Air Force because service members do not have a choice of doctors.

Professional and Caring
The entire staff at Digestive Care was fantastic and caring. Dr. Airel took time to learn, explain and put together a plan. This experience has given me great comfort in having a local GI to work with.

Would not recommend if you're young or overweight!
I, a 21 y/o female, saw Dr. Airel due to chronic nausea, vomiting, and acid reflux issues lasting over a year. I went to Dr. Airel with all of my medical history, a list of symptoms, frequency of symptoms, and information regarding how it has worsened. I feel as though he dismissed me and my symptoms, even though it's gotten to the point that it's severely effecting my life. He tried to scare me by telling me he would send me for a colonoscopy and an EGD, which I had done. Directly following the procedure, he informed my mom, who was my ride for the procedure, that other than finding a hernia, my scope showed clear and that I'm probably having issues "due to being overweight" (I'm 5'6", 200lb). After this, I realized he was not going to provide the care I NEEDED, so I began to look for a different doctor. Even though Airel is the doctor that discovered my hernia, there is no documentation of the size, shape, or location of it, making it hard for me to find continued care.
