Dr. Paula Tanasa, MD

Dr. Tanasa is a smart cookie and takes a whole-person approach to one's health. Having been in the medical field myself, I'm impressed with those physicians who engage with patients from that perspective.

Dr. Tanasa's attenton to detail was the first indication how thorough she is. When I first met her, I had a lot of pain in my shoulders, hands, and hips. She listened and correctly diagnose me telling me what I need to do to get well. Within hours of taking her proscribed medication I started to fell better. Additionally I needed a primary care physician. The doctor she recommended proved to be fantastic. I can't thank her so much. When I had blood withdrawn to check my vital signs, she called, not her office staff, to give me the necessary information. These are some of the reasons Dr. Tanasa is special.

Dr Tanasa needs a vacation...or something. She seems detached and preturbed with life. Rude and not able to communicate very well. Worst physician I heve ever encountered

Absolutely The Worse Rheumatologist I Have Used. Tanasa Pays No Attention To Whats Going On With Het Patient. She Has A One Track," Anyone New Put Them On Infusion". She Doesnt Go Thru The Side Effects, Doesnt Listen. She Will Either Hang Up Or Get A Nurse to You. And This Is During An Appointment. She Doesnt Want To Talk To The Patient. Dhe Turned In Papers After Due Date . It Almost Cost Me My Job. I came in Her Office, I Couldnt Walk, I Was Was Walking With Head Pass By Hip Because I Couldnt Stand Straigjt. I Lost 30 lbs in 3 Week and I Am Throwing Up Everyday And Can't Eat, Chest Pains. Not Once Did This Ignorant Lady Ask What Was Going On.She Never Told Me The Infusion Will Make Me Bald. And She NEVER Touched Any Of Joints But Called It Examine. Only Thing She Was Concerned About Was How Infusions Can We Do. And The Infusions Made Me Sick. The Last Straw For Me, i needed Some papers Signed By Her, And Her Office Tried To Charge Me To Get My Own Papers Back. I Cursed Them , Got

I highly recommend Dr Tanasa. Very patient, personable, intelligent. Have been seeing her for approx a yr. Rheumatologist w/ofc in Northside Atl area.
