Dr. Paul Gerth, MD

I am a retired Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). I was so impressed by Dr Gerth’s work, I drove down from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan to have him do my much needed surgery. He performed total knee replacements on both right and left knees. I followed up with Dr. Gerth for a right total shoulder replacement also. All 3 surgeries within a 15 month period. Obviously No post operative problems. Best decisions I ever made for myself. knees and a my right shoulder

Dr. Gerth preformed a bilateral knee replacement on me in 2012, and also replaced both of my husband’s hips in 2016-17. We were very pleased with his work and was so sorry when he decided to leave the Fremont area. My husband would have loved to get get his opinion on his arthritic wrist, but Seymour, Indiana is a bit too far to driver for an appointment!

I completely trust and like him. Staff very friendly as well.

Dr. Gerth was my Orthopedic doctor in Fremont and I absolutely Love him! He really, genuinely cares about his patients. Which is extremely rare in the health care world these days. He knows his patients by name, not number and he follows his patients through rehab phase. Dr. Gerth first put a rod in my left lower leg, then repaired my right shoulder rotator cuff, removed 2 bone spurs, repaired my right bicep tendon, then a total right knee replacement. I need him to come back to Fremont and fix my left hip!

Dr. Gerth has been my surgeon for over 10 years and he is one of the best in his field ...so upset to see him leave the Fremont area ... wish him the best and hope he gets help he needs to correct his behavior in his personal life to match his abilities in his professional career .

Dr. Gerth has been involved with my husband and myself for years. I will just say that his surgical skills are top notch. When advising on procedures for us he was forth right on the pros and cons . We miss his presence here in Michigan and be advised that Indiana has gain a great orthopedics surgeon.

Dr. Gerth has been my orthopedic surgeon for many years. My recent move to Louisana has left me bereft of his surgical skills and I have had a very difficult time finding a physician with comparable experience, capabilities and caring personality. I pray for all the best for Dr Gerth and his family.

Love Dr Gerth! He was my orthopedic surgeon for over 10 yrs in Fremont, MI and he's the BEST!!! Was sad to see him leave the area!

Dr Gerth can do some pretty amazing things when repairing bones. Great bedside manner. Explains things well. He's always on your side. He volunteers his time as well to be on hand with several high school athletic events. Fortunate to have him in our community.

Have been under Doctor's care for 10 years, always on top of issues, follows through on any and all treatments. Supportive of your needs per work and family. Gives excellent care and information to you for understanding procedures and processes. Also treated both my parents for knee surgeries and hip replacements. Trust him and his decisions.
