Dr. Paul Bachwitt, MD

Dr. Bachwitt came in with a barely audible hello and started to read the medical history without any introduction or pleasantries. He was doing a worker’s compensation exam on my father who is 71 with a bad back. Dr. Bachwitt started his exam and while most of the exam was impersonal and cold it was fine. The Dr. then asks my father to lay down on the flat table. My Dad tries to lay down and gets stuck in a half laying/half sitting position and cannot move any farther any direction. My dad then asks the doctor to get him up and that it hurts too much and he can’t do it. The Dr. ignores his complaints and pleas for help and coldly tells him he has to. At this point my father is in tears(which I haven’t seen in my 29 years of life) and asks again for help and he can’t do it. The doctor still ignores my fathers pain and I jump up and yell at him that he is hurting him and help my father out of the position. The nurse said the exam was over and the doctor walks out without a word.

I would definitely recommend Dr. Bachwitt to everyone. He has the knowledge and experience you want in an orthopedic surgeon to get the best resilts.

I feel that Dr. Bachwitt listens and comes up with the best plan possible. He recommended procedures that my treating physician had not mention.
