Discuss knee issues that was a concern. After discussion we decided to proceed with a knee revision. It has been great with no issues at all. Fantastic work!

Dr Bullock has done my left knee replacement as well as my right hip replacement, in June I am scheduled with him to do my left hip replacement. I highly recommend him to anyone that asks who asks my opinion. I have not had any problems with my replacements, he is definitely a very skilled surgeon.

Dr. Bullock is a great educator and communicator that has a background in Physical Therapy, so he understands what is needed to get back to functioning at a good level for my age. I wanted to continue to be able to play doubles tennis, bowl and garden. He encourages you to move and helps you get there. He is a straight shooter that takes time but gives you the good and the bad of the process. I would recommend him and will continue to use him as a surgeon if needed.

I had to have a full hip replacement surgery due to a fall. I went to the ER with my leg dislocated from my body so my pain number was 10. It was the worst possible pain that I have ever been in and will never forget. I arrived at the ER at 6am and was told that a surgeon was going to work me in for surgery later that day at 4:15pm. Pain medicine wasn’t working, and I was terrified. Nearing the time of my surgery I was in the pre-op ward where I met Dr. Bullock. I was immediately impressed by his intelligence, attitude, his ability to explain exactly what was about to happen so I could understand, and his compassion. When I woke up in recovery after surgery my first thought and words were “My pain is gone”. I was walking with a walker the very next day, I didn’t require any rehab, and was able to do my PT at home. He’s someone who could easily be in demand at Mayo or Cleveland Clinic. We are so lucky to have him here in the Tri-State area. I cannot give a higher recommendation.

Dr. Bullock has performed many joint replacements on myself and my better half. He has a fantastic personality for being an accomplished surgeon. He treats everyone like you are an old friend, even if meeting you for the first time! Many people that I have spoken to about him have all said the same about Dr. Bullock, he is just great. My visit today was a 'follow-up' from a knee revision that he performed on me just six weeks ago. This revision was after two prior surgeries from different surgeons (Not Marshall Orthopedics). Dr. Bullock said he could fix what mistakes previous surgeons had made, and I trusted that he would make it right, so I did not have to walk with a cane again. He did. I am VERY happy with what DR. Bullock has done for me. He brought back the Quality of life that I did not have for 8 years. I recommend to anyone needing a hip or knee replacement seek out Dr. Bullock. He will explain in laymen's terms so you will understand what he can do for you. Trust him!

Br Bullock is very good at reassuring you that everything will be ok. I like that he is very detailed in what to expect and what he will do during the surgery. He is so personable. He makes you feel more like family.I had been in an accident where they didn't set the break correctly. I spent close to 30 years on a painful leg getting around to where I couldn't hardly walk anymore. He did a phenomenal job and I am actively getting around, losing weight, and excited to get back to the activity I used to be able to do. I wouldn't trust anyone else to do my surgeries.

Dr. Bullock is a fine surgeon, he is very patient and listens to all your complaints. He takes his time with his patients, he doesn't have one foot out the door during your visit. He has done both my knees, one was a revision done by another doctor that messed it up really bad. I would recommend Dr. Bullock highly.

Cabell Huntington Hospital is very lucky to have Dr. Bullock practicing in their orthopedic department. I had knee revision on December 9th, I couldn’t have asked for a better Orthopedic Surgeon! So professional, yet so caring. I’m 10 weeks out, and I just worked 47 hours this past week at a Flower Shop! I’m excited for spring, so I can once again work in my flower garden, and raise a vegetable garden. Thank you Dr. Bullock for restoring my health!

Total knee replacement in January 2025. I could not have chosen a better Dr. to perform my surgery. On the morning of my surgery Dr. Bullock walked to the hospital form his home over a mile away in a near blizzard before 6 AM. No kidding! You could not ask for a more dedicated Dr. than Dr. Matthew Bullock. My surgery was flawless and my recovery is going extremely well…

Dr Bullock did both of my hip replacement surgeries and I would highly recommend him to anyone considering a hip replacement. From start to finish the process has been awesome. He also has a great support staff who is always there to help if needed.

January 17th is the 6 week day after full knee replacement on my right knee. The area of the cut looks great. Very little swelling. Sleeping well and only a slight drag of my leg. 123 degrees the knee bends. Doing well in therapy and I cannot say enough on Dr. Matthew Bullock’s skill. He did my left knee total replacement four years ago. That’s why I chose him for the right knee. Incredible surgeon!

Had my hip replaced in October really dreaded it, Dr. Bullock did an excellent job. No more pain, if I knew it would have eliminated my pain I had, I would’ve had it done sooner.

Seems his employees in office don’t have any since of urgency in keeping in touch with post-operative patients. This creates more stress in patients when recouping from their surgeries should be of primary concern…
