Time to Change Doctors
Dr. Nolan has been caring for a chronic pain condition for the past year. His attitude has been quite demeaning the entire time, and at this point he becomes almost angry at any variation from his orders even though I have found better comfort measures.

Great Problem Solver
I have seen Dr. Nolan as a patient, as a parent of a patient, and I have several relatives and neighbors who see Dr. Nolan. Everyone comes away from appointments with Dr. Nolan feeling empowered, hopeful, and heard. He is very knowledgable and caring. He is the kind of doctor who asks questions and really tries to get at the root of a problem and is willing to try different things. He's super practical and wants to find solutions that will work for you personally. I consider him a great partner in health and problem solver. He can come across as a bit nerdy, but I know he is trying to solve some tricky problems and he cares about his patients.

Worst doctor, ruined my life
Came in with a severe concussion, told him what medication I was taking. Did not tell me it was contraindicated for concussion. I then started to have severe memory issues and he told me it was ‘mood’. I said I had severe insomnia sleeping 2-3 hours a night, he told me I was wrong and was sleeping 6 hours. After doing a neuropsych test later on, I found out I had gone from 99% to 60%. It’s devastating and I live with the consequences everyday while this guy gets to move on with his life. Everything is harder now.

Dr. Nolan is the most condescending, rude, and arrogant doctor I have ever met. This man does not deserve to practice medicine. He will make you feel as if you are being interrogated and like it is your fault that you are seeing him. During my visit with him I was extremely close to walking out mid-appointment and wanted to cry after I left. I have never felt more violated while seeing a medical professional. He made comments about me and my current medical care that were ignorant and uncalled for. He is extremely abrasive and his bedside manner is that of sandpaper. Both he and his nurse asked me things that I had already put in the paperwork I filled out. They both asked the same questions and didn’t seem to read my chart or any paperwork that I brought in. Do yourself a favor and find another neurologist.

Dr. Nolan has been my neurologist for over a decade and is the best neurologist in town, or anywhere for that matter. I have Parkinson’s and multiple other chronic illnesses. I recently was diagnosed with a very rare spinal condition that Dr.Nolan found and sent me to a expert neurosurgeon, who did surgery to repair the abnormality. Dr. Nolan will always be straight with you and give you all the information you need before making a decision on treatment, I always know I’m well cared for and trust him 100%. He has saved me many times and we are very grateful for him and his expertise.

Dr. Nolan treated my mother during a crisis after her stroke. He did everything possible to help her. When her nursing home identified a problem as neurological, he was the catalyst in getting my mom help for what was actually a severe infection that the nursing home had misdiagnosed. He called the doctor in charge of the nursing home and my mom was re-evaluated and moved that same day to a hospital - exactly where she needed to be. I call Dr. Nolan my angel ??

Condescending, arragent, spent minimal amount of time talking to me. Seemed in a hurry to leave. I think he covered his bases regarding tests and basic in office evaluations but patient doctor interactions were bad. He became very angry when I told him that I take otc LEGAL Hemp Fusion Cannabinoids for anxiety and arthritis pain. I need a dr to go over my multiple health issues and medications to determine what may be contributing to/causing hand tremorslweak voice.

This man is rude, offensive and actually abusive. He scoffed at my concern that I cannot walk or feed myself. He did not examine me, relying instead on the nurse's initial interview. He told me I should have known to not come see him. He shamed me, then told me to come back and pay for some vague test. Run from this jerk. The staff and facility were great; I gave them one star to keep from inflating his personal score. I don't have the vocabulary to describe how awful Nolan is.

I found him to be condescending and arrogant. He said I was depressed and that was likely the cause of my Parkinson symptoms. I've been dealing with this for 4 yrs evolving. Of course, I'm depressed by now after 4 years.

Dr. Nolan diagnosed me with Myotonic Dystrophy after a visit about persistant pain in both forearms due to lifting weights. I had a abnormal reading from the EMG showing myotonia. Even though I had no physical weakness or family history he diagnosed me with MD. He went on and said my son more than likely had the disease because he was a slow runner. Potassium Aggrevated Myotonia was the actual diagnosis, a far cry from a crippling disease like MD. Very cocky, arrogant individual.
