Dr Izor is my Mothers Neurologist. I drive her to all her appointments. We are very pleased with his knowledge. He educates her on how cleaning living can actually change the outcome of her issue. Offers suggestions. He has researched and development a supplement drink with all daily nutrients your body needs. His private practice has recently moved to concierge. As a family we contribute a small amount so my mother can still receive the best care. Dr Izor is not a pill pusher. He is the best movement disorder Doctor in Austin. He offers lots of other services as well for those who truly care about their health and body. Highly recommend.

Neurology Solutions Consultants and Dr. Izor, M.D., are well-thought-of and respected in the medical and non-medical communities. I have been a patient for over ten years. They offer way more services than the traditional monthly clinical follow-up and medication review. I am most impressed by their holistic approach, which includes dietary and exercise regimens that they constantly review.

Yes, I would recommend Dr. Izor.
I went to see Dr. Izor under reference of a neurologist in 2001. I was impressed by his knowledge on the PD (Parkinson Disease) treatment. Since then, I have been a patient of Dr. Izor and he is the only Neurologist I visit regularly. He treats a patient with respects and honest and persistence based on his knowledge and believes. He keeps his clinic well-staffed and equipped with advanced tools. All in all, I recommend Dr. Izor to anyone who has Movement disorders.

Very pleased.
Excellent doctor. I agree with his holistic approach to medicine and have found him to be extremely knowledgeable in his diagnosis and treatment plan. His PA and MD associated with his office are both top notch. I have done office visits and teleconference visit and appreciate both. I usually see Dr.Izor twice a year and that has been fine. All involved in my treatment for PD have been courteous and professional as I have tried to be as well. Dr. Izor came highly recommended, and I am very appreciative that he is caring for me at this time in my life.

Staff are arrogant and push holistic practices
I was a patient of his for over a decade and they always tried to sell me on dbs but I would always say no and then they started talking about paleo diets. I saw Izor maybe a handful of times and they were for less than 10 minutes. It was mainly his pa. Hopefully they will go elsewhere. I can’t imagine staying under him. One time they said they wanted to do a phone call. I said ok and we scheduled it. I was unaware that I was going to be charged for it and I told them how that was wrong. Two or three weeks later I got a email saying I would not be a patient of him any longer. Zero explanation, no referral. Nothing.

Listening skills
First time to Dr. Izor he listened to my concerns, within minutes they were addressed. There was a plan of action put into place and a goal set that all agreed upon for the long term. Finding Dr. Izor was a blessing

Beware of Dr. Izor. If you check his reviews you'll find a common theme, he has zero bedside manner. He is rude, dismissive, and extremely arrogant. My final straw was at my last appointment when not once, but twice grabbed me without warning or explanation during an exam. The first to pull my neck and upper torso backwards into an unnatural position that was incredibly painful...and held it there for over a minute. The second was to grab my neck with both hands and forcefully twist it to the left -- not even five seconds after he asked *me* to look left. No warning. No explanation. No acknowledgement. Both were incredibly painful. I have a neuro disorder that causes my left side neck muscles to essentially be locked in a 24/7 charlie horse. His reaction to me saying he hurt me? Eye roll, shoulder shrug, and a claim of overreaction due to "depression and anxiety". Ask you to perform a neuro exam then ignore findings. Belittle, demean, and insult you. Plus, he will alter your record.

Avoid this guy. He doesn’t care or put in an effort to actually diagnose your problems. He tried to convince me I needed to lose weight to treat Parkinson’s (I didn’t go to him for fitness and diet advice). I found a better specialist.

I have been a patient of Dr. Izor's since Summer 2015. Their entire staff is excellent. If you have a movement disorder I highly recommend them. During the fall of 2017, I used their physical therapy department for about 15 visits. I have never had a more professional and competent group of PTs work with me before. They helped me dramatically improve my gait, balance, and core strength. Now I can walk an hour every evening without pain!

This man uses his MD to attempt to steal from the sick. I had a five minute phone conversation with his appointment secretary and his insurance clerk. When I arrived for the initial visit and consult I was presented with a prepared bill of $6600+ that I was expected to pay upfront before I saw him. It was carefully explained to me that the actual bill might be more, but the payment was for the diagnosis and procedures he anticipated preforming based on my phone conversation with his clerk.

I had DBS (Deep Brain Stimulation) surgery for essential tremor. It was 100% effective. Dr. Izor was in the operating room during the procedure, testing me to make sure the electrodes were in exactly the right place. Since the operation Dr Izor and his staff have monitored and adjusted the device so that I am again able to write, paint, type, etc. In addition, Dr. Izor advises me about keeping my brain healthy and delaying cognitive decline. He and his staff are an eleven out of ten.

I would highly recommend Dr. Izor and his staff. When I saw them the first time, I was having to use a walker regularly, and had so much freezing and dyskinesia (from the meds) it had become debilitating. They found the problem, and are making adjustments as needed. I now have no freezing, no dyskinesia, and take no meds except Azilect. Thank you Dr. Izor and staff.
