Told me how I should be feeling
Came in talking about how I was the only one who could tell how I felt, but then kept interrupting me and telling me 'if it were him' he would feel like this and then proceeded to go down that route vs. listening to me at all. Worst visit I've really ever had. I left not even knowing how the heck it ended up like that. Got a 2nd opinion elsewhere and it was MUCH better.

HE IS A MONSTER
When I was just 18, Dr. Hitchon intentionally paralyzed me. After surgery, he lied about the cause of my paralysis. He refused to release my medical records, refused to refer me to any other surgeon, and forced me to live 18 years with a broken spinal cord.

The man is the epitome of the stereotypical arrogant doctor. Did not want to listen to what I had to say. Interrupted me continually. It was his recommendation that I come and be seen and then when I drove 3 hours each way I was treated like I was a complete and total waste of his time. It would have been nice if he told me that before I drove all that way and took time off work to go.

Dr. Hitchon is an amazing doctor. He spent a ton of time going through options, explaining what surgery would be like and every single option that could happen due to surgery. He treated me like family and still does. Very open communication. Highly recommend him!

When I first met Dr. Hitchon, I was not impressed with his bedside manner. So I decided not to have the MVD. Went on living a horrible life medicated up and seeing my family doctor he asked me to make a judgement based on knowledge and not bedside.. I am glad I listened (Ok I have bad patient manner)I have not had a Zingers (my word for Electrical shocks to my face.) I now just having to heal from the surgery and I am extremely satisfied with Dr. Hitchon's knowledge. I would highly recommend him
