The BEST doctor I’ve ever seen for treatment
Dr. Boylan is a kind and compassionate doctor. When I have follow up appointments with him he doesn’t rush to move along to the next patient. Instead he listens to my questions and concerns and addresses them. He seems to genuinely care about the wellbeing of his patients. This doctor is a gem and I would highly recommend him to my friends and family.

I had my previous pain doctor send my records to Dr. Boylan’s office. I have had several injections for my pain and nothing worked. I have been on pain medicine for 11 years. Not much works well. Because of that I am more than willing to get off of them if the doctor can find something to help me. After reviewing my records someone from the office called me and said the doctor wouldn’t see me because I was on pain meds. I told her I was more than willing to get off pain med if he could do something else. What kind of a doctor calls himself a pain doctor and won’t even see you? Even though I wasn’t seen by him I still think he is so into himself (by seeing his picture) that he only wants to see people he doesn’t have to really work to help them. What happened to the Hippocratic oath? First do no harm? This guy is a joke

Just more of the same
This doctor is more of the same treatment as other doctors. I gave him all my records of surgeries and treatmemts and he still wants to do the same treatments that Did not work on me. Second visit after mri was with a nurse. She suggested all of the same stuff I had done 20 years ago. I told him and her what works and what does not. She did not give a dam. I would never g.j o back to this guy again. You want effective treatment or listen to you go somewhere else. These guys are terrible. Period. And if you think I am some kind of nut I am just telling you the truth. Go somewhere else

Mixed review
I have multiple spine issues, and was referred to Dr. Boylan. We tried physical therapy, a couple of shots, and 2 brief rounds of a narcotic for pain. Nothing helped. So he was done with me, referred me to a spinal surgeon. I repeatedly asked for non-narcotic pain medication, and he ignored me. Spine doctor suggested medication for neuropathy. Why couldn't a pain doctor do this? I liked him at first. He seemed concerned, wasn't in a hurry, very nice, explained everything, and his staff were all very kind. I just cannot wrap my head around why he blew me off with nothing for terrible pain but a referral.

FANTASTIC, COMPASSIONATE PHYSICIAN!
Dr. Boylan is one of the most professional, compassionate, knowledgeable, personable Physician's I have ever encountered. He really gives you his undivided attention during your appointment, and LISTENS with concern and empathy to the pain issues that are disruptive to your quality of life. Virtually never had a wait time in the office for an appointment. The front-end female staff are all very professional, personable/sweet, and helpful (especially Cassie)! Dr. Boylan and his staff are the best - can't thank them enough for the excellent care they provide!

I'm very disappointed in Dr. Boylan as a professional. I used to be an RN until I was brutally assaulted by a patient and suffered a TBI and numerous fxs. So PAIN I have! And seizures. I've been on methadone for 8 years and able to function as a human being. Yesterday he cuts me off without warning. Your like all the other Doctors I ever worked with you really dont care about your patients well being so long as you make those green $$$. And you really wonder why people turn to street drugs!!

Excellent first impression. Very thorough. I brought the CD of my MRI to him and he took the time to go through it frame by frame, showed me exactly where my problem was and comprehensively explained a logical path to fix it without surgery. The first ray of hope I have seen in the 8 weeks since I herniated a disc in my lower back. I will post an update after my first injection treatment.

Dr. Boylan got to the root of the pain quickly and accommodated my very hectic schedule. Despite squeezing me into his schedule, he took as much time with me as I needed, explaining all of the options and procedures in a way that was easy to understand. His office staff was also friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. I have already recommended many friends to him and will go back to him again should the need arise. Thank you, Dr. Boylan!
