I was just diagnosed with benign MS by another doctor. I saw Dr. Brancazio for two years and it took him almost that long to give me a diagnosis of transverse myelitis. That was the incorrect diagnosis. I realize he has many patients and can’t remember everything. But do your patients a favor and read their chart BEFORE you go into the room. Ever visit I had to remind him what was going on with me. But at the last visit when he asked how I was doing on a medicine that he took me off 18 months prior, I was done. He gives very little, if any information. You have to ask so many questions to get anything out of him. My husband attended my last visit and the first thing he said when we left was “Wow, he spent more time reading your chart than he did examining and talking to you” He appears to be checked out and wouldn’t probably do his patients a favor if he retired.

Disappointed
Dr Brancazio was not forthcoming with any information that could help my husband navigate the scary post-stroke world. Luckily I’m in the medical field and I knew we should be able to get more information from a provider, so we sought out a second opinion. The second provider was able to tell us in the first five minutes what was going on with my husband, what to expect and what to do.

Awful DONT WASTE YOUR TIME
He didn't listen to any of my symptoms but even worse. He said that I was fine, to get off all my medications and to just see a psychiatrist that he hasn't seen issues like this in his years of practicing. It took a few ER visits and waiting 5 more months to see Penn in the city to find out it was a rare form of migraine.

Joke of a doctor. Told me that even though I started having seizures, ear ringing and pain and numbness in my hands at the same time there is no way it has to do with my neck. Told me “you probably just have carpal tunnel” despite me seeing a hand doctor the day before and her ruling out CT and saying she thought it was a spinal issue. Total lack of interest in what I was saying and was acting as if it’s normal for a 20 year old to have numb hands. Can really tell he went to WVU for med school.

Cold, careless, unattentive, unsympathetic, lack of effort, rushed, overbooked, and only does good when they have a student intern shadowing them at appointments. I am 24 years old and I have peripheral neuropathy which causes pain or numbness in my neck, shoulders, arms, and hands. I was also diagnosed with carpal tunnel at 13 years old. I had to take EMG tests to confirm it, went to the chiropractor for a year, physical therapy, orthopedic, and took gabapentin for the pain but It didnt help the pain much and gave me blurred vision. Dr. Pasquale Brancazio was very cold and careless towards me. He told me there was nothing he could say or do about my peripheral neuropathy and carpal tunnel until i got a genetic test done to see if I have a rare disease called "Charcot Marie Tooth" disease. This genetic test was not covered by my insurance or any insurance for that matter and costs $1000 out of pocket. So I switched to a different neruologist since Dr. Brancazio was not helping.
