We strive to keep reviews honest, trustworthy, and fair.

Doctors can not pay for good reviews, nor can they pay to have negative reviews removed.

Any reviews that are deemed fraudulent or violate our guidelines will be removed immediately.

All reviews are confirmed and audited before publication, and community members have the ability to flag inappropriate content for further review by our team.

Does not listen
Dr Melen did not listen to my concerns and would cherry pick symptoms that fit a predetermined conclusion, instead of interpreting the symptoms as a sign that he was missing something. This resulted in unnecessary tests and wasted time while my condition deteriorated. He can be argumentative and seemed disinterested in the outcome of my care. I’m already tired from my condition and don’t want to have to argue with my own doctor to get the care I need. Seems to have little compassion.

Dr. Melen spent less than 10 minutes with me despite serious eye issues. He didn't have me remove my contacts, ask me about medication or take any medical history at all. He said that I was overly sensitive to vision issues and refused to discuss alternatives. I have never had a physician be so disinterred in my care.

I went to see Dr. Melen with a family member. Dr. Melen was quarrelsome, he interrupts constantly, he does not listen well, he appeared to be confused by basic arithmetic involving dates and did not seem to believe that there were any treatment options for vision problems resulting from concussion. He may be an expert in his field, but that was not at all apparent. His attempts to encourage a positive attitude were so ham-fisted that it was hard to credit him with any sincerity at all.
