×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Oatman?
Dr. Oatman probably has fantastic bedside manner with the majority of his patient's parents, unless he finds something about them or their care for their child not up to his standard. In other words Dr. Oatman lacks a certain objectivity and professionalism in his communication style. I stuck it out for a few years and then asked for a doctor of my own ethnicity, convinced that perhaps some cultural barriers will no longer be a factor as I become a better Type 1 diabetes Mommy.
