“I’ve been doing this a long time”
Symptoms during flare: shortness of breath, feeling like my lungs won’t fully expand, pleurisy, rashes, fatigue, frequent headaches, brain fog, Raynaud phenomenon, swollen and red joints, elevated C-reactive protein, dry eyes, blurred vision at times, mouth and nose sores, positive ANA, speckled pattern, high PTTLA, leukopenia for a year….. ready for the plot twist? Her diagnosis - Fibromyalgia. Her justification: ‘I’ve been doing this a long time.’ Doctors forget that we’ve been with our body’s for a LONG time and know when something is wrong. I don’t even meet the criteria for fibromyalgia, primarily the widespread pain for at least 3 months.

Does not listen
She doesn’t listen to you and tries to just diagnose you with Fibromyalgia instead of running more tests and finding out what is causing you pain. Rushed in to put me on meds instead of figuring out what was causing my pain. I don’t think she even looked at my chart because of the things she was asking me and they were in my chart. I don’t want to be put on pills, I just want to know what is truly wrong with me so I can get the problem fixed!

No good
Been going !! I’m done ! Rushes you , doesn’t explain the big picture of autoimmune!!! I have issues and I feel I’m not getting the care I need! Period!!! As I’m laying here feeling hopeless to find a good Dr I feel like why try!! Drs don’t care … she put me on this horrible drug that can cause all kinds of serious issues that I have had and don’t need again! If she would have read my chart and saw she maybe would have been smart enough to reconsider giving it !

My husband had an appointment with her. He got in immediately. Seen a nurse prat. First but then Dr Mohammed can in. She was very polite and listened to all my husband had to say. She explained everything to us and was very patient. She was going to do blood work and xrays. The only Dr who we have seen in last 6 months that has actually helped him. He is still in little pain but I know she will fix that too on our follow up. . staff very nice . got in and out at a reasonable time.

Great Specialist
Dr. Mohamed listened to me and helped me when another rheumatologist told me there was nothing she could do. She explained why she diagnosed me with what she diagnosed me with and explained the criteria and why I met them. Kaya (APRN) is super nice and takes time to listen also.

I had an appointment scheduled for 8am. I was taken to a room at 8:15, and sat in the room until Dr. Mohamed came in at 9:10. Time spent face to face with her was less than 10 minutes, and I was gone by 9:20. When I went onto the portal to read my visit notes, she charted that time spent on the appointment was "beyond 50 minutes". This is simply not true. My only guess as to why this is charted is so that she may bill out a level IV or level V visit to get more money from my insurance company. My appt was to discuss lab results, and she questioned me like I had never been seen there before. She used a diagnosis code of Shortness of Breath. I have not ever had this complaint, and this was never mentioned during my appointment. I was previously seen by the nurse practitioner, Kayla, and there are several inconsistencies in the note from that visit, as well. Needless to say, I am very upset about this and sad that patients are being taken advantage of like this.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Mohamed, and she and her staff were wonderful. After years of being treated like the pain was all in my head or just looking at one aspect of what was going on, i finally felt like someone was listening and putting all of my symptoms together. I still don't know for sure what the diagnosis will be, if anything, but at least I have hope. I didn't mind the wait, because I felt like she spent time with each patient instead of rushing. Bring a book though!

I had my second appointment with Dr. N. Mohamed today, I absolutely cannot say enough good things about her! She listens to concerns and problems, runs tests and labs as indicated, she was even understanding and good to my kid when I didn’t have any other option than to bring her to her to my appointment (my daughter is 4 and wanted to help her do everything) so my hat is off to her for patience and her staff is excellent and professional!
