Horrible Experience!
I had a hip replacement with Dr.Goyal and had extreme pain for 1 year. I still have pain. I was suppose to go home same day of surgery and without explanation I was kept overnight. It was clear no one wanted to tell me what happened. & I was too drugged up to ask. I had pain in my hip something was wrong when immediately after waking from surgery. No one would listen to me - including Dr. Goyal's physician assistant (PA) who I saw twice about the hip pain. She blew me off, & said nothing was wrong. You aren't allowed to the see the surgeon after surgery, only the PA. No physically therapy (PT) was approved, just Dr. Goyal's PT app. I was in too much pain & asked for a script for PT. I had to abandoned it because of the extreme pain it was causing. I finally was diagnosed by 2 surgeons who both said I had hip Iliopsoas. I now will always have pain when I make certain movements. Dr. Goyal & his PA were incompassionate & dismissive.

Excellent!
Dr Goyal has been my surgeon since 2016. He is thoughtful and very focused on providing excellent surgery. As a teacher, if there was a score higher than an A plus, I would give it to him! I feel very fortunate to have found him.

Surgery Review
I would not recommend DR Goyal. I waited for over an hour to see the doctor, and when I finally saw her, she rushed through the appointment and didn’t listen to me. I would not recommend his doctor.

Dr. Goyal is a 10 out of 10. He repaired my ruptured quad Tendon in 2013 and successfully replaced my right knee on Dec. 4, 2023.

Right total hip replacement
Dr. Goyol did a great job on the replacement of my right hip because of osteoarthritis. Prior to surgery, I had virtually no cartilage. Due to a prior condition, my right leg was about 1/2” longer than my left leg pre-surgery. This was a concern as total hip replacement usually results in restoring some height to the replaced joint. I didn’t want to make the leg length discrepancy worse with the surgery. This issue was discussed with Dr. Goyol who said that he would attempt to minimize the usual length increase as a result of surgery. He successfully did that. The Force App was amazing for physical therapy, discussion of common issues and advising me of what to expect post surgery. I strongly encourage any total hip replacement patients to use the Force App.

I have a right knee total replacement in February 2021 by Dr. Goyal. The surgery was very successful. Both of my knees were in terrible condition so I scheduled my left knee total replacement for September 2021 and am about through that recovery process :). My right knee had more complications than my left so no two knees are the same. The Anderson Clinic is top notch. As I understand it, Dr. Goyal is not full time at the Anderson Clinic now so to get an appointment with him is tough. I have my four month post surgery follow-up with another surgeon in the practice which is fine for me. The Rally App and now Force App is great for post op communication.

I would not recomend this doctor. He clearly did not know an infection when he sees one, goes by aspirations that are only 50% accurate. Told me that he would not treat me nor did he want to treat me and to go to a pain clinic.had his nurses escort us out. So humilating after we had to wait over an hour for his nurse to see us.

Seven out of seven health professionals said that my hip was one of the worst that they had ever seen. Even with no medical training, I could see that my hip looked bad.. One health professional described the hip as “looking as if rats had chewed on the hip bone.” When I went for my year check up, Dr. Goyal had corrected the more than one inch difference in leg length. I have no pain and no limp. I'm so grateful to be able to walk.

I got a total hip with Dr. Goyal. On my consultation I was hurried and he left the room before I could ask all my questions. It wasnt like i was getting my tonsils out. He spent about 2 min. with me prior to surgery then I didn't hear from him again for 3 months after surgery. He never called post op. Even my first post op visit I didn't rate a face to face. I saw a PA. Who was very nice. Pain management was beyond aweful.

Superb surgeon. I was diagnosed with avascular necrosis at age 41, which required the THR (total hip replacement) of both hips. I was quite nervous and unsure. Dr. Goyal and his staff were outstanding in managing my expectations, and almost miraculously getting me back to my active, pre-diagnosis self. Absolutely superb. I highly recommend him, his team, and Anderson Clinic in general.
