No, he does unnecessary operations. I didn’t even need the surgery I found out afterwards from another doctor.

Words can't express how much we appreciate Dr Patel's care. We went to several doctors for my son's complex kidney stones and they could not remove all the stones. Finally, we traveled quite far from our home to see Dr Patel and with one surgery removed all of Brian's stones.

I see doctor Patel for chronic bladder pain. He is always attentive and never dismisses my concerns like previous doctors. He always tries to adjust the plan to best suit my needs. Very lucky to have access to him

I came to UCLA and Dr Patel for bladder stones from a very large prostate. He managed both the stones and the prostate in one surgery without ANY incisions with a new technique called HOLIP. My recovery was quick. He has excellent bedside manner and I highly recommend him for his technical skills. Great office staff to boot. We love jean.

Dr Patel a UCLA staff Surgen left a large bladder stone in after a painful surgery to have stones removed. I can NOT recommend him. I had to have a second painful surgery six mounts later by another Dr. unfortunately Dr Patel has no bedside skills and I found him unresponsive to a painful catheter poorly placed after surgery. Find a 5 star Dr. I really had an extremely bad experience with Dr Patel.

I was self catheterizing for years For urine retention. Dr Patel performed a procedure since he really felt I could urinate on my own and 8 months later I donated all my catheters back to his office. He gave me my life back.

Dr Patel provided great for my father during his kidney stone attack. He carefully went over all the options, gave us his recommendation and got us in quickly for surgery. The surgery went well and now Dr Patel works with my dad for stone prevention. We appreciate his expertise and knowledge!

He completely misdiagnosed a simple UTI. He did not return several messages. After almost 1 year of being in extreme pain, I ended up having to rush to the ER (because I couldn’t get out of bed because I was doubled over in pain.). The Dr on call at the hospital gave me the correct antibiotics to clear a UTI that had been festering for a year. I highly DO NOT recommend this dr.
