Not only dismissed me, re-traumatized me.
I waited 6 months for the appointment. Arrived to discover all my forwarded medical information was missing. No note or imagining available to him. Even after telling him about my PTSD around medical care because I have a genetic condition that can interfere with how I present on exam. He clearly decided I was a psych pt as my “exam” didn’t fit my complaint. As the first UC provider I saw he retriggered that PTSD and is part of the reason I am walking away from health care. UC as a whole has been the most sub par academic health center I have ever been a patient of. As a pt who has more than one well established throughly documented zebra condition, I tried to only use academic centers.
