Not What She Seems
This woman had been treating me for RA since 2016. Because I had been in remission, I had not been in to see her in over a year. When I started feeling pain in my wrists again, I called for an appointment and was told that she was not accepting new patients and I was now considered one. She coldly refused to treat me even though she knew well that I would most likely not be able to get an appointment with another rheumatologist in quite a while. I always thought she was caring and had a nice bedside manner. For her patients, be warned: You too may find out she is not what she seems.

The receptionist was rude, flippant, and unhelpful. I hung up before even making an appointment.

I would really like to find a Dr who listens to my health concerns, just because I have RA does not mean my case is just like everyone else. Dr Melendez seems to categorize all RA patients in 1 group but we're all different. This is solely my opinion
