Recognizing Dr choice of PA
Telehealth
Dr Milords standards are very high and she expects the same from her employees. She chose well bringing Pria Vattamparambil on board. Tomorrow begins national PA week and I can't let this go by without singing praises for Pria. She meets Dr Milords standards to a T. She is so compassionate, caring, smart and has the patience of a saint. She is the best PA I have ever had in my life and I'm 65. I have been with her since she 1st started there and I promise whoever is reading this that you are in very good hands should you choose this office for treatment. They will make you feel so comfortable it is like talking to your best friend. Which is good because once you are relaxed you share more about your health issues so they know better how to proceed with your treatment. Thank you Dr Milord for bringing Pria on board and thank you Pria for all you do for me to help me live my best life. You are awesome and I am so grateful for you. Happy National PA week! JK

Finally got some answers!
It took 6 years of me going from one rheumatologist to the other. Within 3 appointments she gave me a diagnosis that finally made sense. With new medication I’m already feeling better than I have in a long time. She gave me hope.

This review is long due. I have been seeing Dr. Michelle Spuza-Milord for more than ten years. She is the most outstanding doctor I ever had. I referred her to my family and friends; everybody feels the same. She figured out and guided me through a few challenging situations. The latest one probably saved my life or spared me from a formidable medical issue. Reading her reviews, I see the most common issue her patients had was waiting time. The only reason is that she takes the time to listen to you. She cares and truly wants to help. It is so rare in the medical field nowadays when the medicine is business to find a doctor like her. I promise she is worth the wait. She will treat you with respect and compassion at all times. Ultimately, one great thing about her is that she is up to date with the latest medical treatments. She is the rare combination of old-school approach and new medical therapies coming out at the moment. She is the most knowledgeable doctor I encountered, not just in her field.

Very knowledgeable
Been with Dr Milord since 2009. She really cares. She listens. She will take as long as it takes for you to understand your results. She is old school and up to date on all new technology. She amazes me. She will even right it down for you to research yourself. LOVE this doctor! If your searching for a rheumatologist look no further. She is the best and worth the drive if your not near by.

I've been a patient of Dr Milord since 1993. Initially I lived in St Pete but life moved me all around Florida. I had no problem changing PCPs but I NEVER changed my rheumatologist. Some may complain about appointments running late. But Dr Milord takes adequate time with EVERY patient. You won't feel rushed as Dr Milord wants to understand your medical and personal history. She considers the whole you before recommending treatment. Regarding me Dr Milord has been spot-on with her diagnoses when other MDs have missed by a landslide. Dr Milord is my rheumatologist and will be for the duration. If you want compassionate care I recommend Dr Milord.

Never go back
I spent over $200.00 to be told to take Vitamin D for which I was given a prescription and could have gotten over the counter. Nothing was done for my very painful ankles. I brought in my own MRI films and saw a nurse ARNP who made two more appointments for me. For what? To do absolutely nothing for me. For this, I missed work. I will never go back there and would not recommend this place to my enemies.

Very Poor Experience with this Rheumatologist
My experience was one of very concerning disrespect and lack of care and competence by this physician. Like others have noted, I was kept waiting 70 minutes past my appointment time - "nothing I can do about it". I was referred to her for one simple reason; osteoarthritis in one knee after two meniscus surgeries. I am healthy and active. The referral was to find out if it was an isolated issue. Without a real physical exam or lab results, she proceeded to diagnose me with numerous issues! In WRITING, her diagnoses were amped up to what she told me in the exam room, including that I had multiple areas of arthritis! I subsequently contacted her office to ask HOW she came up with what she did without labs or an exam and WHY the issues were now worse on paper. She would not talk to me (until my next appt) but rather relayed some vague answers through a medical assistant to only some questions. This experience was seriously disturbing and I will not return. Do no harm?? $$$ !!

Horrible customer service
I guess i should've checked her reviews before making an appointment, i see others have had the same issue. This being my first visit i was told to be there 15 minutes early to hand in my new patient paperwork, i did and after 45 minutes i went to the front desk and asked if they forgot about me, i saw others that came in after me being called in, I was told there were other doctors here, i said ok and sat down for another 20 or so minutes and after 1 1/2 hours i told them i had to go please reimburse me for the $20 co-pay i paid. Horrible first experience and from reading the other reviews I'm glad i left, I will certainly do my homework in locating a more professional doctors office

Dr. Spuza-Milord is a great Rheumatologist. She is thorough, very knowledgable, and well worth the travel time to see her as well as the wait time in the office. Every visit helps me to understand more about my chronic condition, and how I can best navigate an easier path through the associated problems. She listens and remembers and makes suggestions as to everyday solutions. I am very grateful to have found her.

I like Dr. Spuza-Milord because I believe she cares. But when she suggested I embark on an alkaline diet I followed up with research and learned that there is no scientific evidence to support it. That's when I quit seeing her. I don't miss the long waiting room times of 1-2 hours. One time, after waiting 2 hours, I asked when I would be seen and found that the office staff had overlooked putting my file in the queue and I would have to reschedule. No, I don't miss that.

I have seen Dr Spuza Milord for 15 years. She is by far the best Rheumatologist in the Tampa Bay region. Her care is compassionate and empathetic. She is also thorough and educated in proper diagnosis and treatment. I’ve come to trust her above any other doctor that I’ve have ever seen. I know that her main concern is stopping the rapid progression of both the RA and fibromyalgia. Along with easing my pain and other symptoms. I’d HIGHLY recommend her to all who suffer from autoimmune diseases.

The doctor is great. But scheduling is unacceptable. I've been trying to see her for months. Twice I was booked into appointments that later were cancelled by the staff. And each rebooking was a month or more out. I am not sure if the doctor is aware but if the staff makes scheduling errors TWICE then she should consider a new process or staff. Why have a great doctor if you can never see her?
