Dr. Nicole Balchune, DO

I have been a patient of Dr. Balchune for many years. She takes her time and listens to the patient with a high level of care, no matter if you are her first patient of the day or her last. I cannot say enough good things about this doctor and her excellent care. Yes, wait times may be more than some wish and getting though to the office can be a challenge. However, she is worth it!

Dr Balchune listens to my concerns and addresses what needs to be done. Good natured easy to talk to.

Awful experience. I once waited 2.5 hrs once to be seen at my annual visit. Her schedule is always behind. You don't get callbacks from the nurses at the office (even though they tell you they will or that they will send a message to the Dr) and call you back. Not professional for a Dr. office at all. If you cannot keep up with your patients and their needs then don't take on that much volume, period. I was hospitalized for a previous condition and told 3 people this and the Dr. via a mygeisinger message to ask for a prescription to get a simple antibiotic. No one took it seriously and I had to go to urgent care to be seen. Not acceptable for a health care provider, ever.

Dr balchune is the best Dr I have ever had! She conducts herself in such a friendly way but also very serious when needed. She makes us feel so comfortable . Both me and my husband go to her and also our adult daughter. She always makes you feel so comfortable, I don't dread going to the Dr anymore! Her office used to be right by my home but she relocated and I went with her, she is worth the drive. I highly recommend Dr Balchune.
