Dr. Jon Olenginski, DO

I have been seeing Dr. O. for about 8 years now. He is absolutely fantastic. He always listens and takes the time to address all my concerns and questions. It can be somewhat of a wait to see in person, but that just shows that he is a sought after provider. Telehealth visits are a breeze. He really puts you at ease when seeing him, whether it is in person or virtually. He has a wealth of knowledge and I appreciate him. The portal is easy to navigate if I have to send a message or get a script refill. I'm so glad I found him for a PCP!

I'm a new patient of Dr. Olenginski and my first experience with him was excellent. He listened to what I was saying to him concerning my history, even looking into my medical records to see exactly what I was telling him about. He didn't talk down to me concerning unhealthy choices but let me know if I want help with changing them that there are options he can offer and was understanding of the fact that if you aren't ready to change things then most likely even with assistance you won't succeed. He made sure I was up to date with any preventive care and put in the referral for the appropriate department to get me an appointment. He assured my prescriptions were current. Usually my anxiety acts up when meeting people for the first time and that wasn't the case. My experience with the PAs at the office has been excellent as well. Total time spent for the appointment was perfect.

The main problem is that it is hard to get an appointment with Dr. Olenginski within a month. This forces you to see a PA, which has been a complete nightmare. I have had wrong tests ordered and just don't feel like I am receiving quality care. The other issue is the staff and the complete lack of communication.The Geisinger Health System that the office operates under moved all the calls to a call center and it doesn't seem like they communicate efficiently. I have to hand deliver my documents.

Jon is an excellent doctor. I would recommend him to anyone. The only reason he is no longer my doctor is because I moved to Florida. I wish he still was. Sharp as a tack.

He is a very kind and compassionate doctor with regard to his patient's well being. I have only been going to him for about 3 years now and I am so glad I found him for my doctor.

Dr. Olenginski very thorough and conscientious. I have been with him since he was in Mountain Top in the late 90s. I hope to stay with him and his staff for as long as possible.
