Dr. Nicolas Teleo, MD

Went through horrible testing before seeing Dr. Teleo. When I had all my testing done, he said all my results were negative (they were NOT) and stated he 'thinks' l needed a revision surgery. Upon hearing my insurance would not cover the surgery, it was end of appointment. Did not want to discuss anything further or answer questions. Told me to get better insurance and come back. I sat in my car and cried in the parking lot for half an hour. This Dr did NOTHING to help my issue or give me any options, advice or answers. I will say the staff was friendly and Sam Lofredo was super nice and listened to everything I had to say and genuinely cared about my health concerns.

I would highly recommend Dr Teleo. He did both my umbilical hernia and a few years later my colon cancer surgery. He is very thorough and professional.

Dr. Teleo’s nearly killed me. He left necrotic tissue in my body after a routine procedure. He never followed up even after numerous calls to his office when I was complaining of discomfort. I ended up in an ICU after my calls were ignored. I spent three weeks total in the hospital and had an ileostomy for 3 months because of him. I was also 23 and it perfect health before this incident. There was no reason for it. Complete incompetence.

I highly recommend that you stay away from Dr. Teleo. I had a terrible experience with him. He is insensitive,does not follow up to patient inquiries.i had an operation over a year ago by him and my life have changed the pain and discomfort that I live in daily I don,t wish to no one.

Did not note or remedy existing adhesions and partial obstruction of small bowel during exploratory laproscopy. In addition, the Doctors at Pocono and St Luke's did not offer a diagnosis or suggest treatment (including referral to someone who could remedy the problem) for abdominal problems I experienced for 6 months prior to me seeking on my own and receiving care along with necessary surgery at Morristown Medical Center.
