condescending, dismissive, judgmental
I have never a more judgemental condescending doctor in my life. I would not even call him a doctor. I even told him to call my other doctors who have treated me for years and he would know I was not as he conceived in his mind even before asking me questions examining me or finding out me. I would not go back to see this man ever and I gave him three tries every time the same way. I would not take my animal to see him he is that bad. I used to be a nurse and I have never met a doctor as bad as him

He is a caring and responsive doctor
I have been seeing Dr. Sullivan for over 2 years for a rheumatoid condition. It was diagnosed during COVID, which made the whole process more drawn-out and traumatic. But once the orthopedic surgeon to whom my PCP had referred me said he really felt I needed to see a rheumatologist, I felt lucky to be able to see Dr. S. within 3 weeks, vs. the 3 months I'd been told by other offices. He diagnosed me almost immediately (blood work had been done in advance, so was not off-the-cuff). He responds to MyChart questions promptly, and worked me in for an urgent problem same day. Staff is great - I am lucky to have them on my team.

Doesn’t care about you
Dr. Sullivan was not interested in my symptoms or me as a patient. He preferred to spend my visits talking about what my husband does for a living.

I had a great experience with Dr. Sullivan! He fixed my hand which had been bothering me for over a year all in one visit! He took time to look at my records and ask real questions about what was going on with me. I’m so glad that my PCP referred me to him. He was a great choice!

Good gracious! Dr Sullivan rocks my world. I have been suffering for years. The minute I showed my hands, he looked at my records, he knew I was suffering. He is a very confident doctor with a good bedside manner I would recommend him to all suffers

I saw him after my primary rheumatologist had the same labs repeated several times, all supporting the same diagnosis that matched family history AND symptoms, but still refused to make a diagnosis. He told me that he felt my fibromyalgia pain was because of my weight, though I'd had the fibro diagnosis for some time and had been responding positively to treatment. Abnormal weight gain was also on my concern list, so this was more upsetting. He also told me that unless/until I agreed to at least 12 weeks of antidepressants, he wasn't willing to offer anything else. Basically, he said I was fat and sad and until I fixed that, he wasn't going to do anything. Mind you, I'm not even obese, let alone morbidly so. It was highly inappropriate for him to diagnose and prescribe for depression after a 10 minute visit. I was really angry when I left and would not suggest anyone else see him unless you're the "perfect" patient or you like being dismissed and blamed for your body betraying you.

By far the worst doctor I have ever had. He has poor communication skills and a non caring attitude. When I informed him that I would be filing a social security claim he said that I would be denied without even knowing of my military disabilities. Since diagnosing me with scleroderma in January 2018 he has not given me any information on what to expect or treatment.

I have seen many doctors in the past 10 years and Dr. Sullivan is one of my favorite. He is caring, knowledgeable and friendly. He's not afraid to go that extra step to make sure you are getting the proper treatment. His staff is friendly and very efficient. Many time I have arrived early and have been seen before my appt. time. Never have I been delayed. If there is a need I can get an appointment in a day or, sometimes, that day.

I went to see this doctor for a evaluation for RA or EDS. He was rude, condescending and complacent. He was more concerned with why I was seeing a therapist than my physical problem. Said nothing was wrong I was just depressed. One month later I was diagnosed with hEDS , Chiari Malformation and a brain tumor. No doctor should ever make their patient feel like that. I left in tears. Glad I found a knowledgeable doctor who knows what hEDS looks like

Only knows to give cortisone shots instead of diagnosing and treating symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis. Tried him for a year but had to leave when he was unable to communicate or articulate a treatment plan other than just prednisone and shots of steroids.
