Dr. Nazneen Khan, MD

Elmhurst Behavioral Health Dr. Nazneen Khan did not listen or acknowledge patient history. During the intake process I felt as though she were steering me into an overdiagnosis. She disregarded my existing diagnosis which attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder and depression and told me she would have to do her own diagnosis. After this negative experience I read her bio which stated that she specializes in Schizo affective disorders! It is now clear that this limits her lens and makes her biased. Her primary solution was to suggest sedative drugs rather than to assess individual patient needs. Newcomers beware. Most psychiatrists will Rush to get you out the door. Always remember that psychiatrists are not therapists or Medical Dr.s and they operate mostly off their own assumptions and beliefs. This was my experience with Dr Nazeem Khan.
