Dr. Nalini Yelamanchi, MD

Dissapointing! Her website says she specializes in Preventative care. I 'was' a new patient looking for a provider to assist me in maintianing a high standard of health in my mid 60's . She did not want to hear anything about what I was doing to maintain my heath and help support me in that journey. I have come a long way with improving my health in the last 10 yrs and was hoping a woman Dr. would understand and help me to maintain my good health. Sadly she is not the one.

I am a new patient of Dr. Yelamanchi, and my experience has been disappointing. The main receptionist is unapproachable and often seems overwhelmed . My wait time has never been less than thirty minutes my longest wait being an hour.This weekend I had severe back pain related to a condition diagnosed by Dr. Y. I called her office first thing on Monday morning, not expecting to be seen that day, but I hoped for acknowledgment of my call and possibly a referral to a specialist or a change in treatment.After not hearing back, I called again at noon and left a message. By 4:00 PM, I called again but found the office closed. After sending a frustrated email to Dr. Yelamanchi, she called me at 8:00 PM. After I explained, I was astounded her best advice was 'If you're in pain, why not go to the emergency room?' I felt like am just another cog in the wheel, and Dr. Y's office seeme more focused on seeing as many patients as possible in a day rather than on providing proper patient care.

Dr. Nalini Yelamanchi is an exceptional doctor. She is very efficient, makes one feel comfortable and her office always follows through on your health issues. Her staff is exceptional and make it easy to make appointments and follow up. She now has a very goof PA and her receptionist Nancy is very good and always has a pleasant smile. I would highly recommend this practice.

Never rush me

I switched to her after my Doctor retired and I had several bad experiences with other Doctors. My first visit she took nearly 30 minutes with me and went threw my history. I told her of my bad experiences and she was very sympathetic. She listens and pays attention which is something others have not. My wife is switching to her and I highly recommend her.

Dr. Yelamanchi has been my doctor for the past 13 years and I couldn't be happier. She is professional and yet extremely friendly. She knows her patients by name and knows what might have been a medical issued. Five Stars! Even more good news. She has hired a wonderful assistant.

Have had many issues relating to my history of cancer. The Doctor is extremely knowledgeable and works well with my my cancer doctors. I also have a very rare neuropathy requiring me to walk requiring 2 canes for balance. She is one of the few doctors that have knowledge of this disease. She always asks the right questions to resolve any issues I may have.

I went to Dr Yelamachi when I first arrived in the Villages. I had no complaints and was surprised when the Dr detected a murmur and said I should have it checked. Long story short, I ended up in The Cleveland Clinic for a Mitral Valve replacement. I would be dead now if not for Dr. Yelamachi….. great doctor.

I have been a patient of Dr. Yelamanchi for over five years. I have found her to be very professional, caring and thorough. The excellent care and communication that I have received from her has played a significant role in preventing potential health problems. I had the exact experience with her. I went to the colony office, which she shared with other physicians, and she does not offer complete care there. No flu shots , no Pap smears ....

Professional Takes time to listen Speaks in layman’s terms Pleasant

Worst internist in the world. Mom had been seeing Yelamanchi for 7 yrs. Mom had a double mastectomy 16 years ago. 8 months ago diagnosed with metastasized breast cancer. Each time mom went to see Yelamanchi she asked when was her last mammogram. Extremely insensitive. Last mth the doctor dismissed mom from her practice. No explanation. Only a letter that said mom needed to find a different doctor. Abandonment of care! Now yelamanchi wont complete a transfer paper needed for the assisted living.

Dr. Yelamanchi MAY be a good diagnostician because she schedules lab work every 3 to 6 months. She would be a better doctor, however, if she took the time to actually greet her patients and make eye contact with them in the examining room instead on breezing past them on her way to the computer screen. She also needs to slow down a bit and be sure she has read what on the computer screen instead of skimming and getting it wrong. I'm looking for a dr who treats me like a person, not a lab report.

I have been a patient for many years, Cannot believe what I have just read in comment....oDr Yelamanchi Has always had my best interest at heart....She is very kind ....very professinal and certainly knows whahe doing....and keeps up on all my test from others doctors.

This doctor is an uncompassionate soul! She does not work for her love of medicine or sick people. Anyone who would ask an 80 year old patient with uncontrolled diabetes, heart disease and a pain level at 8 of 10 to leave her office is a disgrace to the profession. The only advice I could give to those thinking of being a patient with her is to turn around and run for your life!!!

Has to be one of the worst run front offices in Florida. No one knows what is going on and who is next or where they are. I have given them 3 chances but I am done! Front office people are very rude and unprofessional! If they give appointment don't tell them you are fitting them in.
