Dr. Nadia Khoury, MD

This office is cluttered, outdated and small. The lobby is so small that there is no social distancing. The office biller billed my insurance wrong and threatened me with not seeing me as a patient and sending it to a collection agency. . Don't bother making an appointment, go somewhere else!

I really like Nadia and her father. She was very helpful and explained what my conditions were and how to treat them. When I needed my parathyroid removed she sent me to a surgeon at U of M hospital who specializes in that type of surgery. She and her father also treats my type 2 diabetes. Many of my friends go to them also and they like both of them.

I have been seeing this Dr for over 15 years now and she has always been upfront and honest concerning my care, she listens and is always eager to check on any problem I am experiencing or gives good advice for things I can try. I will happily wait a bit longer if needed to get a Doctor who listens to what their patients have to say and the quality of care is not about the office decor for me, as I have serious issues that she has always addressed. She is direct (which I like) because I find less confusion that way. She is a dedicated Dr. and that means a lot to me.

Worth the wait. Worth the drive.Dr. Nadia Khoury invested the time to fully explain my diabetic condition. I'm very comfortable with the treatment plan she laid out & where my efforts fit in.

I would never recommend her. Very rude and unprofessional. Hung up in my face and has no compassion for her patients. Currently looking for another endocrinologist. The absolute worst experience I’ve ever had! I would never recommend any I love yo her.

She was very rude, condescending and confrontational. She let me know that I was the last patient of the day…as if that should dictate the quality of care she provides? I was extremely uncomfortable asking questions about any of my health concerns, lab values and disease process that she specializes in. Uncalled for, unfortunate & unprofessional. Would not recommend nor will I be going back.

Absolutely the worst bedside manner! Dr Khoury insisted I change my medication and dosage even though I was feeling great. This made my blood levels spike, and I became practically lethargic. She then refused to share my medical notes with me. According to Dr. Khoury her notes "are not in my medical record." She also complained about another doctor I had seen and flat out said that she "doesn't like her." This doctor has a terrible attitude. I would not recommend this doctor.

Office staff very rude! Dr N Khoury very moody and can be just as rude as office staff! Went there for medical needs not to be treated like garbage. Would NEVER recommend this office ever! Keep up the good work in rudeness and you won’t have any patients. I recommend that you do not bother to even go there!!

WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE FROM A HEALTHCARE “PROFESSIONAL”. NEVER AGAIN. After waiting 3 hours in the waiting room, calls in my script wrong (calls in the one I’m allergic to!), so I call to get it fixed, I get SCREAMED at and told “they have better things to be doing”. She then calls back nearly a week later and states “if you want the script called in right you can set up another appointment with me and we will do it together.” NO! So you can Charge me double for your negligence?! Morons

I would never recommend to my family nor friends. Dr Khoury has horrible bedside manner, It surprises me that a "doctor" could be so insensative to her patients as if her patients owe her something. It was a huge mistake taking my loved one to her office never will make that mistake again. So anyone considering a visit, do not do it unless you want to feel as if you are a bother or beneath her and your health is just a paycheck to her.

On first visit insulted my family doctor. On second visit, yelled at me for not taking meds right, when she was very unclear on directions. Had an allergic reaction to the insulin she put me on.(Hives, itching and severe stomach pains) Told me it wasn't the medicine and to keep taking it until a she saw me on my next visit a month away. I don't need a doctor that uncaring about my health.

Highly rood, no empathy, made me very nervous, did not go over medical history over office visits over several visits. Misdiagnosed and Undiagnosed of treatment putting a patients health at risk. Do not recommend for anyone looking for a new endocrinologist or long term care to meet any needs.

Spends plenty of time with patients & seems to care but office is cluttered & full of very outdated info. Large piece of blue tape holds door knob on (old, nasty looking) door. Doctor's lab coat was very dirty. 21 year old poster said "never wear garters!". Rx pad was sitting out on counter in exam room entire time we were in it (without staff/Dr in room). Many expired items (including meds!) in exam rooms: hand sanitizer expired FIVE YEARS AGO! No one washed their hands before patient contact.

Pleasant, thoughtful, listens, very knowledgeable., takes plenty of time explaining /answering questions to my satisfaction.
