Dr Mattox has been very attentive to my needs.
Dr Mattox treated me for meniscus tear and also a “trigger” finger most recently. Will use him as needed.

New to me...
I have used Southern Orthopedic Surgeons for years but this visit with Dr. Mattox was my first time meeting him. Injured while at work I am a WORK COMP patient . Dr. Mattox explained what happened, options, restrictions, meds and expectations. Very clear and very concise. I have always used Dr. Freeman for my knee problems and surgeries... Dreaded a new doctor. All the concern was for nothing. Dr. Mattox walked in and I walked (limped) out happy my injury and healing will be monitored very closely. The staff is great and kind... I do wish they had a runner to bring the tablet to us during sign-in, but overall I am at ease with my doctor change from Freeman (who was amazing) to Dr. Mattox.

great md
very professional ,with great bed side manor, who took and is taking care of me now with a fractured fibula and tibia with plates and screws, i have complete confidence in this md and would recommend him to anyone who needs serious orthopedic work
