Wonderful doctor!
I was referred to Dr. Abaza by my ENT who had scared me into thinking that my vocal cord nodules could require surgery if not treated and could possibly develop into cancer. Dr. Abaza did a thorough exam, including voice recording and video documentation of my throat while I made specific sounds. I was relieved to hear her report that I could discontinue the medication I was taking for acid reflux and work with a speech pathologist a few times to achieve the necessary results. The doctor was friendly, informative, caring, and reassuring. I left her office feeling like I was given a gift.

Didn’t see her before surgery or after. Mixup on meds. I was in surgery for a hour. She was present for 15 mins. Her ‘team’ was not impressive either.

Dr Abaza barely spent five minutes with me. She didn’t listen to me and left the room without any word on next steps, meds, etc. I had to ask someone on staff if she was coming back, they said no. She sent in a prescription for me, but the instructions were unclear. I had to call twice and email once to get a response two days later. I have had great experiences with the doctors at UC Health with the exception of this doc. If I have to go back to the ENT clinic at UC Health I will ask to see another provider.
