Rude and talked down to me
At first I thought he was very thorough and I liked him. After he went in with Piedmont, his personality changed. He was rude and talked down to me for a good 15 min. I finally walked out.

Actual follow up care with the doctor
Tests ordered and completed during my two years (2021-2023) of care. Dr. Pathan never met for his professional opinion on my results or findings. It’s always with the same assistant, I want to say who states everything was normal and we’ll see you in 4-5 months. Now I’m back with office visits for my identical health challenges that resorted in more tests and labs he requested. PCM wants to know tests and labs completed with the actual recorded results. I have asked twice for results/ and information recorded referencing his findings or diagnosis(copy of my records). They have yet to be sent to my PCM. An informed decision can’t be made nor can diagnosis or medication to assist in my pain without results from the neurologist. I’d asked during my last visit ten days ago could a specific issue be addressed and was told it must come from my PCM. I’m really experiencing health challenges and want to move forth with the proper diagnosis and care treatment.

Cntnd from first section of review....
....as I was saying, as far as the BETTER part goes, this is the first neurologist I've ever had that has gone far and beyond to have the details of my epilepsy examined. And he's still having that a work in progress. I do wish however, that it could be faster to have appts set up, rather than taking a few months though. That can get a little irritating. But not enough to leave a bad review. He's obviously a very busy Dr. But again, it would be considerate for him to at least want to meet all his patients. Well, as far as I go, I've not been properly introduced to him or actually been seen BY him personally. I couldn't even tell you how his bedside mannerism is. But the physician's assistant is great and she DOES listen!

Like the doctor and his PA’s and staff. The office is filthy, that is why I gave it three stars. No excuse for a filthy doctors office.

The problems are not with the doctor nor his medical staff. The issue is someone in his office staff. It took my General Practitioners office over 2 weeks of nearly daily calling to get an ASAP appointment. I called several times myself and had little luck.. the appointment was finally scheduled and no explanation forwarded for the delay. It then took over 3 weeks to establish a proper prescription to the RX company. Again there were multiple phone calls made by the RX provider and myself to the doctors office and his answering service. I have been without my MS medication for over a month now, very unacceptable.

Dr. Pathan is very thorough, explains well, and I came to trust him very quickly after a significant neurological event. He not only appropriately assessed a more chronic condition, but also helped explain a likely one time event that was quite unsettling to both me and my spouse at the time. He also identified evidence of a prior stroke that was missed at the original E.R. visit for that incident (thought at the time to be a possible stroke). As a provider in a related field, I was in a better position to assess his work, and am thoroughly satisfied. I have never felt rushed with him. Clinical judgement appears excellent, and he worked with me to find a treatment option that was both acceptable to him as well as me as a patient. His front office and insurance billing staff are a bit less than optimal, but certainly not enough to cause me to find another provider (personable, but not as efficient or effective as he and his patients deserve). I very highly recommend him!

I take care of both of my parents. Me and my wife stepped in after my father had a second stroke/seizure. My wife was able to take off 10 weeks of work at first to get them situated. In the last year Dr. Appointmens have been hard to do with both of us working full time and only sleeping in our bed 3 nights a week. My father has field loss due to his strokes on left side. Keeping him from getting upset and taking off in his truck has been a hassle. I knew he has an appointment today. I called this office before hand and explained my situation. They did NOT help me at all. They told him he did not have evidence of a new seizure in the last 6 months so they wont tell him he cant drive. I am very upset about this. I keep seeing my kids playing on the side walk or in their yards when here he comes. He is also suicidal. This virtual call has lead to a huge confrontation. Without me and my wife they cant do anything. They have someone here 24/7. They dont cook, they dont wash clothes,

My dad just went in today for the first time. Very pleased with doctor and staff. They took very good care of him and were very attentive to his needs. Him and his staff were very thorough in the exam. They made sure they new what was going on in order to give him the care he needs. The exam literally took a bit short from 2 hours. Overall I am extremely pleased.

I have been seeing Dr. Pathan for about 5 years now for MS. He is very caring and kind. He has been proactive in my care and offers me the most up to date medications and treatments. Most of the time the wait to see him under 15 minutes. His staff is kind and helpful. Anytime I have had a problem in the past 5 years Dr Pathan has been quick to address it. I trust him and have confidence in his medical care.

Very knowledgeable physician. Office staff were very friendly and helpful. I found the wait time to be similar to any other "specialist" that I see. I would rather wait a little longer to see a Doctor that listens & understands than get in and out quickly feeling ignored or rushed. I would highly recommend Dr. Pathan and his office.

I cannot say enough about how Dr. Pathan has changed my daughter's quality of life. She is well on her way to living a seizure free life and I honestly do not believe we'd be at this point without Dr. Pathan. He's wonderful!

No complaints in regards to the care I received from Dr. Pathan , but the office staff is HORRIBLE at following up with patients. I have attempted to follow up for MONTHS in regards to my MRI images and all I keep receiving are non productive status updates/excuses/no call back. There has been no proactive effort from the medical team to retrieve my results from my previous provider and follow up with me in a timely matter, even though I have exhausted all efforts on my end. I could go on and on

Amazing Neurologist! Finally found someone who was able to correctly give me my botox injections! His nurse was very quick at getting them approved too! Laura informed me every step of the process. My only complaint was how hot the temperature was inside the office

Can't say enough about Dr. Pathan and his assistant Kellyann. They both are very caring and thorough. Dr Pathan made me feel like I was his only patient and kellyann answered every question I had. The front staff was friendly and welcoming. The wait was not as bad as I expected but it would've been worth it to see them. Thank you for making me feel special.
