Worst Experience Ever for Writing a Review Here!
I was 'fired from being a patient' by Dr. Wells' office manager. She said I was fired 2 years ago (when I wrote a rating) & now I can't get them to sign off on paperwork for my new, much-needed, CPAP machine. My 2 recent visits were paid for by Medicare & Blue Cross--no one told me during those visits that I had been fired! I would have written a lot worse rating if I had only known what a difficult time it would have caused me--Believe these ratings about how rude his office help is!!!

Like many other complaints, I, too, have had difficulty in getting a return phone call from his staff. I have no complaint about Dr Wells as he appears to be very knowlegable and communicates well. However, this is his office and he needs to instruct his office personnel to better respond to his patients. I too, am about ready to change physicians thanks to his inept office staff.

Excellent sleep specialist. I have had no problems with communication. If you have narcolepsy and live in Middle GA, Dr. Wells should be your first choice since he is a neurologist. Pulmonologists lack the expertise he has when it comes to narcolepsy. He also has strong ties with Emory, which, along with Stanford, is one of the two main centers for narcolepsy research and drug trials. Highly recommended.

NEVER ANYONE AVAILABLE TO SET-UP AN APPT WHEN NEEDED, HAVE TO CALL BACK REPEATEDLY. CONSIDERING CHANGING PRACTITIONER AS THIS IS A RECURRING & CONTINUING PROBLEM AT 478-745-5779. ANNOYING & TIME CONSUMING FOR PROFESSIONALS WHO DO NOT HAVE THE TIME TO INDULGE IN THIS NONSENSE. STOP IT ALREADY!

I saw Dr. Wells for the first time on yesterday. His staff was kind and professional. They quickly made my appointment and when I arrived I didn't have to wait long. Both Dr. Wells and his Nurse Practitioner explained everything in depth to me so that I understand my treatment options and they answered all my questions. Dr. Wells is just one of the most pleasant doctors I've ever met. His bedside manner is exceptional.

I've called numerous times to get a sleep study scheduled. Every time, including when an actual person answers, I get transferred to an answering machine. I've left several messages and have yet to be called back. Seriously, my doctor, my insurance company, everyone I talk to, says he is the best in town. I've got a Dr's referral. Just can't get through his staff/phone service to get an appointment. Very Frustrated....ready to go "out of network", honestly.

Dr. Wells seems to be a knowledgeable and caring physician, and his PA is as well. I would rate much higher if it were possible to communicate with his office. I have called many times and even when I call a specific extension, I get a recording. I understand that. It happens. What I don't understand is that only once in many (over 15) messages I have left did I get a callback... and that began with a complaint that I must have done something wrong.
