Dr. Mircea Petrina, MD

I'm not sure if he was having a bad day or something, but this guy made me cry in my car after my appointment. He repeatedly cut off my sentences explaining symptoms by telling me I shouldn't even be there, when I was really only there to get a monitor at my doctor's request. He kept telling me I was in the wrong place and this wasn't cardiology related. At one point he said I should go to Endocrinology because I "clearly have a goiter," an opinion that has never been expressed and has since been outright debunked by other professionals. I'm not sure why he would say such a thing unless he wanted to make me feel bad? Since the appointment, I have gotten my results, and I am experiencing a malignant arrhythmia that could have killed me had I taken his advice and left it untreated. The other staff was very warm and helped explain some of the gaps that remained after he left the room, and overall everyone else was good. Strange seeing so many positive reviews, I wonder what happened. Maybe he is nicer once the data can back it up, but I won't be sticking around to figure that out.

Dr Petrina is very outgoing and listens to what his patients are saying. He asks pertinent questions regarding symptoms you are experiencing and actually hears what you are saying.He also wants your opinion regarding how he is choosing to treat you, and will explain why he feels this treatment will be most beneficial for you. I do trust Dr Petrina and would highly recommend him family and friends.

Dr. Petrina has been my doctor for a very long time. His depth of compassion for his patients is outstounding. He cares deeply and uses all his expertise to give each of us the best quality of life. His knowledge is boundless on using all he has learned to give us the very best care. During the pandemic we as patients stressed to the limit, sometimes not realizing the pressures we put on our doctors ,made it harder for them. Dr.Petrina never changed, even if we made his job harder. His care for helping us through hard times never changes. Dr. Petrina has true understanding and appreciation of what we may need and how we are feeling. I am truly humble to have such a caring knowledgeable physician in my life. Without all the qualities and skills that Dr. Petrina has shared on healing me,I don't know if I would be here today!

I had stems in my body and go through several hospitals, He was expertise , and he honest and focus on my situation and think about what i needed and worried, he pay attention to the length! he is amazing Dr and he is my highly recommended to my family and my friends and co workers. Saved my life. twice...what more could you ask for

I waited over two hours to see Dr. Petrina, who was in a pretty big hurry to get through with my visit by the time he spoke with me. He immediately thought my continuous shortness of breathe and chest pains for 5 months were "stress related" instead of considering other important possibilities first. I have since found that my symptoms are GI related, no thanks to his advice to see a neurologist (way off base) and have more unrelated tests done at my great expense and waste of time.

I have no affiliation with Dr. Petrina and I'm sure all of the reviews I have read are accurate. I have a friend who has been seeing him for over a year now. My friend is very ill and after every visit with him we converse about the appointment. In my opinion, he knows what is wrong, but doesn't know how to fix it. So he keeps rescheduling Dr. Appoinments and in the meantime my friend is geting worse. I feel he is over his head and needs ask for help before its too late.

Mistakenly assigned to a different doctor, but the nurse and office team worked with Dr. Petrina to eventually have him see me. He read all materials relevant to my situation, listen to my needs, and provided a plan (medications, rehab, etc.) that already helped me greatly.

I would recommend Dr Petrina to anyone who needs an excellent cardiologist. He is very thorough. I've been Dr Petrina patient for almost 2 years and I feel better now then I have in years because he knows what he is doilng and what medications to use for my condition I am very grateful he is my doctor

I met Dr. Petrina when my husband was ill, he was compassionate and caring and showed him kindness and respect during the last days of his life. I am now a patient of Dr. Petrina's and I can honestly say I trust his experience as a physician and have no doubt I am receiving the best care I can get.

Dr. Petrina is a thorough doctor who listens to your concerns. He is proactive with my health. I am very pleased with the care I receive and hope he is my cardiologist for years to come.

Dr. Petrina listened to what I said and asked questions that showed he heard what I was saying. His friendly demeanor and willingness to share what he was thinking helped put me at ease. The staff was friendly and efficient and everyone at the practice made me feel like a person and not some file to push through the system.

Not only is Dr. Patrina an excellent MD, he takes time to talk to me about all aspects of my health life. Highly recommend Dr. Patrina!

He was awesome, I felt at ease and in good care. Unfortunately a couple of the office staff left something to be desired. That is the only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars. Front desk amazing, check out and scheduling tests desk, apathetic and stern. Did not want to listen. Quite blunt. Otherwise the rest of the office staff was amazing
