Dr. Chirag Chauhan, MD

He emplaced an artificial aortic valve. More importantly, he called days before the procedure, he met with me and my wife and answered all questions. He saw me the day after the procedure while I was in the hospital and he called me at home days after. I never felt he was too busy for my case and he had more personal communication that I ever experienced from a physician before him, with the exception of his partner, Vijay Subbarao, M.D. who likewise gives full meaning to the idea of personal care, concern and patient involvement. Both are, in my view and without elaboration or exaggeration the best physicians I've ever encountered.

He saved my husbands life! He is calm, takes time to explain, thorough, empathetic and professional! He has a warmth many doctors do not possess!

Listens, explains and formulates plan. I trust his decisions. Very kind and caring. Nicole at front office makes sure everyone has a great day. Her personality is incredible! All in this office are wonderful!

Dr Chauhan lives the Hippocratic Oath: he is extremely well educated and a fine diagnostician; he is patient, respectful and thorough, taking whatever time is needed for examination and explanation; and he follows up. I do wish all physicians followed his lead, and would be happy if even a few cared as much as he does for his patients and professional integrity. Yet how fortunate I am that I found Dr Chauhan and I am his patient.

I accompanied a relative on several appointments to see Dr. Chirag Chauhan, including an emergency visit. I am thoroughly and positively impressed with him. For background, I have visited 7 other physicians with the same relative, including 4 other specialists. No physician has yet to impress me except Dr. Chauhan. Bedside manner: friendly, confident, prepared, professional, sincere. Professionalism: he’s actually read your chart, refreshed personal memory, has expansive knowledge of medicine in both his specialty and multiple others, and knows his craft so well he can give concise and clear explanations. On top of that, he’s the most on-time doctor I’ve ever seen. If I ever have a heart issue, or need a recommendation for another specialist, Dr. Chauhan remains at the top of my list of any doctor or medical resource.
