Horrible experience I do NOT recommend
I don’t even know where to begin. She did so many things that put me in a life-threatening position, including trying to block my thyroid hormones with my methimizole and adding T4 like I’m some kind of science experiment. Then she told me don’t read the online forums about what people write regarding post thyroidectomy. She was WRONG about that as well. my life has been completely obliterated from having my thyroid removed and she did a horrible job working on my thyroid hormones. She had me hyper thyroid for six months after my surgery. I expect when I’m paying out-of-pocket seeing an endocrinologist that she would be better than the rest but she wasn’t. She was just as bad or worse than every other endocrinologist I’ve seen.

This doctor took me off my thyroid medication which caused me to have severe panic attacks, heart palpitations, high blood pressure and adrenal issues. When she put me back on my medication, she put me back on at a such a low dose that it put my body out of whack and my cortisol suffered so badly that I've developed chronic insomnia. I've since learned that there was nothing wrong with my thyroids and that my symptoms were the result of pernicious anemia. I am still suffering from this doctor.

My first visit with Dr. Sood lasted over two hours, during which time she listened to symptoms both physical and mental with true compassion. Over the course of several months we were able to determine the true cause of my symptoms and the right course of treatment - something many other doctors could not or would not do. Dr. Sood is open to both medical and non-medical treatments, encouraging me for example to meditate every day. I feel bettr than I have in over a year thanks to her.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Sood?
On my first visit, Dr. Sood spent nearly 2 hours with me reviewing my past history, not just listening to me, but truly hearing what i was saying about how my body felt and what I knew was not right. She is an excellent doctor as she reviews your body/tests in a comprehensive manner, you may go for a check on your thyroid, but she will review the whole body's function, excellent. She is kind, caring and so is her staff, they make everything easy and I am glad I found her.

My experience with Dr. Sood has been amazing since the start. I searched high and low for a reputable Endocrinologist and I am lucky to have found her. The office runs exceptionally well and though she doesn't take insurance, it is well worth the expense to feel that my care is top notch. I recommend Dr. Sood to all of my friends and family members.

Long ago, soon after I saw Dr. Sood for the first time, I posted some online reviews mentioning that I was very satisfied. At this point, I have been a patient of Dr. Sood's for five plus years. Her knowledge base, dedication, and overall patient-interaction are unimpeachable. Any negative reviews in my opinion are suspicious, or downright fake. She is quite simply...the best.
