I do not recommend him unless you are ok with being in pain. He did wrist surgery for me. Was unwilling to help with pain control. 20 of the lowest strength pills for pain after surgery. I've had 2 knee surgeries, hysterectomy, foot, shoulder, and eye surgery. This was by FAR the most painful surgery I've ever had. This doctor did not care that I was in pain and would not give me pain relief. When I had the foot surgery, I didn't even use 10 pain pills. It's not as if I'm a cry baby. Just be aware he told me no one dies from pain. I need my other wrist done. I will go else where.

Thank you so much Dr. Patel for repairing my right wrist (ORIF surgery - Distal Radius Fracture), after suffering a nasty fall on the ice. I was so scared and nervous approaching surgery, as it was my 1st ever, but your kind and caring nature put me at ease. You followed me every step of the way with follow-ups and physical therapy. I’m so amazed by my recovery and function. It’s more than I ever thought I would have! I have amazing use of my wrist now & am back on the ice! Words can never express how grateful I am to both you & your staff! You are the best Orthopedic surgeon EVER!!!

Absolutely a phenomenal professional and surgeon. Never seems like he is in a hurry during visits or follow ups. Surgery on severed bicep tendon turned out better than I wouldve ever expected. The support staff for Dr. Patel including Jennifer Utshundi, Arifa Khan, and Erin Mingledorff PA make these visits like visiting family or friends.

I am very pleased with Dr. Patel and his staff at Resurgens. I recently broke a piece of the bone off of my thumb at the joint at a SkyZone Trampoline Fitness Class. The bone floated away from my thumb with the ligament attached. I had to have surgery 6 days later. I loved the staff at the surgery center. Both the office and surgery center staff are very nice, professional, and efficient. Dr. Patel explained everything to me, no surprises.

Dr. Patel operated on my right wrist on Dec. 6, 2017. I had a bad break and he had to insert a metal plate and several screws. I did not have to have a hard cast after the operation, instead I had to use a hand brace which was much more convenient. I healed very quickly so I did not have to have any physical therapy. I would highly recommend Dr. Patel to anyone needing hand surgery.

Dr. Patel is a wonderful doctor. He is a great surgeon . I went to him with a broken wrist that another surgeon had really messed up. He corrected it and it works great. He's also down to earth and very easy to talk to. I would recommend him highly. I drove one hour each way just to see him and it was worth it.. Thanks Dr. Patel . and to that great staff you have.

Dr. Patel did a open reduction internal fixation of my right distal radius fracture on 1/25/17. He did a great job and my wrist is almost completely healed. He is professional and responsive to all my concerns. The staff is friendly and efficient. I would recommend him for any hand surgery.

Dr. Milan Patel repaired the Rupture of ulnar collateral ligament on my right thumb, he did an awesome job, the thumb is almost fully healed after surgery on 11/16/2016. Dr. Patel performed surgery for Dupuytren's contracture on my finger. The surgery was extremely successful. I received professional, compassionate treatment from Dr. Patel and his staff, especially Arifa. I had had a negative experience with 2 other orthopedic practices - one in Atlanta and one in Athens - long wait times, poor bedside manner, treated like a number not a person. You can reach Dr. Patel's office easily by phone. They treat you like a valued customer - HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
