Dr. Mike Laur, DPM

I went in to see Dr. Laur for the first time 2 days ago and it was for a toenail removal. My 20yr old son came with me (he had had this procedure done 4 times, 3x didn't take for a variety of reasons, done at other podiatrists offices) so needless to say we were very familiar with the removal of the big toenail. The entire process took roughly 40mins (including numbing) and that was even a breeze as well. He was very personable and talked and laughed with us throughout the ordeal. We both found him able to put us both at ease and when I asked him why he was covering my toe he said that most don't like to see (I'm one of the few that wanted to watch lol) but it went quickly and he explained everything that he did and also the explaining of the after-care. I would never go to another podiatrist. Love Dr. Laur! And the front desk too!

I saw Dr Laur in July 2023. His exam and treatment helped me considerably. However, what was put in my medical summary was quite different than what I was told verbally. My insurance was incorrectly billed to the wrong company, then when billed correctly I was overcharged $137.62. After3 calls over a 4 week period I was finally told my refund was issued ONLY after I canceled a f/u appointment.I am glad other patients had a better experience.

Name was incorrect in the system. Remained waiting while other patients went back as they said they were having having trouble with my insurance because it's new-it's not, it's a BC/BS plan that’s been offered through my husband’s employer for years. After 45 min., I was told they weren't allowed to see me today because my referral was pending from Wellstar & that they couldn’t do anything about it/see me until my PCP office fixed it. I tried to explain I confirmed with my PCP they completed their part of the referral process but instead of calling my PCP, was informed I would have to contact insurance myself to sort it out and come back later-no option for pay out of pocket. I’m most upset that they confirmed the appointment multiple times KNOWING they didn’t have the referral properly in their system aka my insurance wouldn’t be accepted today even though they required me to submit all that info as a part of the appointment request process. Never had a referral issue before this.

I made an appt.for Aug 28th 9;30am and provided ins information etc during the appointment call. I am not a new patient therefore all my information is on file. I arrived before 9;30am but was informed I had to reschedule because there was not enough time to process me. The front desk lady was very unprofessional therefore I will not return and will find another doctor with better staff

Went for an in grown toenail and he was very kind and caring.

Have been seeing Dr. Laur for several years and love him!! He is very gentle, listens well, and answers questions you might have. His office staff is also awesome!

Both myself & my husband see Dr. Laur and most definitely would recommmend his services to any of our friends or family members. Staff was enthusiastic and most helpful which made our visit less stressful! Dr. Lauer is the greatest & made my surgical procedure painless and cured my issues. We now return for routine visits!

D.r Laur staff (Chris and Angela) are always helpful and friendly when you are in the office. After trying to get copies of my medical records for over a week , I called Angela and five minutes later I had my records emailed to me. I would and have recommend Dr. Laur to family and friends.

Dr. is very thorough, knowledgeable and professional. Office visits are on time with no waiting. Dr. explains everything in a way that is clear and understandable. He answers all questions and never rushes an appointment.

Dr. Laur took great care and time to explain what was needed for correcting my bunion. Surgery was recommended and of course, I put it off as long as possible. When the pain was impacting my daily life I went back and decided to have the surgery. I wish I had not waited so long. I did not suffer with pain after the surgery. It was more an inconvenience. I took the pain med the day of the surgery and the day after just because I was afraid it would wake up and be painful but that never happened. By day 3 no pain meds. Other than keeping the swelling down and living with the walking boot for 6 weeks it has not been bad at all. I work from home so that is a big help with managing the swelling. If I had to walk around an office building all day that would require more effort I am sure. I am over the moon happy with Dr. Laur and would Highly recommend him. He will not recommend surgery if there are other options. 2 more weeks and I'm out of the boot!

plantar faciitis was acting up and very painful and Dr.. Lauer did ultrasound and was very inflamed. Received a cortisone injection. He did such a good job.

Great Podiatrist! Listens to me, accurate diagnosis' and gives good advice. When I have issues with my feet, he fixes me up and I'm good to go! The office staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Dr Mike Laur
