I had Dr. Lirette during my first pregnancy. It was a pretty straightforward pregnancy. No issues. Except for an emergency c-section which he did not perform since he was on vacation. My issue with this Dr. Lirette happened with my 2nd pregnancy. I lost the baby and learned about the miscarriage at the 6th week check up with him. He literally told me the news and rushed me out of his office. He sent me home to let the miscarriage happen naturally and set next app in 2 weeks. Nothing happened in 2 weeks. I asked if he could induce the miscarriage because I was mentally/emotionally exhausted. He said his recommendation was to keep waiting. No options offered. I was not happy so reached out to a midwife. At this point I got headaches + swallen feet. Midwife asked about HCG level. I had not idea what she was talking about. She recommended to go to the ER asap. Here I am at the ER waiting to be seen and wishing I never have to deal with this experience or Dr. Lirette again. He neglected me!

The office staff & nurse practitioners are excellent! Dr. Lirette is short with people, rushes you, makes me feel like he could care less & I found him extremely Condescending. He spoke to me as if he was repremanding me. I have been with this office for a number of years but only because of my nurse practitioner. Now that I have had to see only Dr. Lirette due to some problems, I will not go back to him again. In the past I heard great things about him but he needs to retire.

I used to be very happy with Dr. Lirette. However, I feel that since I have gone through menopause and I am no longer young and "fertile" that he no longer wishes to be my doctor and has pushed me on to his NP. The only reason I stay is because I like his nurse practitioner very much and also because they have all my history as I have been a patient for over 25 years. I do agree with other reviewers that he is always in a rush and as a result the patient feels that. Move em in, move em out mentality. It didn't used to be that way.

I prefer to see his NPs, they are the only think keeping his office afloat. Horrible bedside manner, especially with young women. Waited anxiously in the room for 20 minutes, he ran in and out of my procedure room without explaining anything he was doing or letting me ask any questions. Left me laying on the table stunned, told me me don’t get up until someone comes to help you. Additionally, he refers you to a clinic for certain contraceptive methods. Time for him to retire or switch only GYN

When I visit with Dr. Lirette rather than the nurse practioner I feel as though I am being rushed out of the door so he can get to next patient. When I attempt to express any kind of concern I feel as though I am dismissed by him. I feel like I don’t have any opportunity to ask any of the questions I mean to ask when I come in. Overall I don’t feel I am being taken care of by him throughout this pregnancy and am researching to find a new doctor’s office that will better suit my standards.

I cannot sing his praises enough. So warm and knowledgeable. An amazing human being as well as excellent doctor. His staff is just as amazing and warm. Can’t imagine having my baby with any other doctor or group of professionals attending to me.

He is amazing, he is a calming factor. I had surgery with him as my doctor from a referral from another friend who also had used Dr. Lirette, the best, even my husband loved him! Our grown daughters now use him also.

He delivered both of my children. He's cautious, thorough and very personable. I moved out of state and hadn't been in years, I came back and it felt like coming home. So warm and welcoming. ??????
