Very good job explaining to me my concerns and xrays

I have been seeing Dr Willenborg for several years for the arthritis in my feet. He has prescribed injections over surgery. Was clear with me that surgery would be a very long and unpleasant recovery , I am very happy with his treatment plan. I can walk as much as I would like.

First visit I had with Dr. Willenborg he was very prompt, informative and answered all my questions. I never felt rushed or unheard. He was very open to kinda and “ went out of the box” to meet my needs for urgency for having my surgeries scheduled within the remainder of the calendar year. Surgery was great and I’m have no reservations to have my other foot operated on in December. His nurse and PA are both so personable as well and I feel so confident in him and his team meeting my medical needs.

Dr. Willenborg and his team are truly professionals. They have helped guide me through pre and post-surgery. I had a lapidus bunion correction surgery and everyone on the team was friendly, helpful, and took good care of me and answered all my questions throughout the process. I would highly recommend this surgeon and his team to anyone needing a foot or ankle doctor.

Dr. Willenborg was engaging, thorough, and willing to spend extra time had I needed it. Diagnosis and treatment plan was carefully explained, in a way I could understand. Excellent doctor.

3 surgery’s in 6 months. They went well and they always addressed my concerns.

Dr. Willenborg has done two different surgeries on my left foot. The outcome on both has been fantastic. He explained the injuries, my options, possible outcomes and possible complications. Answered all my questions and he staff is very responsive. Complete recovery of the strength and range or motion in my ankle (I'm 62) and my toe looks better than ever with a surprisingly short recovery time.

He just removed some stitches from my foot, and we discussed physical therapy.

Surgery went well. Office visit after surgery answered all questions and explained everything that was done.

It gives me no pleasure to comment about a negative experience of my wife with Dr. Willenborg. I am a retired physiologist from University of North Texas and their Health Science Center. I served as a consulting collaborator with Dr. Richard Williamson (Founder of the Orthopedic Assotiates) and served as a co-manager of their outpatient Sport Medicine Center, 1985-1993. Dr. (Skip) Heerwagen and I continue to see Dr. Williamson in his waning years. My wife sought care from Dr Willenborg and found him to be somewhat adversarial, wanting of empathy, knowledge, and concern regarding her ankle fracture and treatment. We are seeking a second opinion and treatment at Carrell Clinic.

Dr Willenborg explained in detail the issue and surgery that would be performed. After 2nd and 3rd opinions I came back to Dr W to perform the surgery and he and his staff were outstanding. Therapy will start in a few weeks and I’m hopeful for a full recovery and back to my very active lifestyle.

My scheduled appointment and diagnosis went very well. Completely satisfied with the staff and Dr. Willenborg. He was very informative and explained in detail the surgery, physical therapy and healing process thoroughly. Very pleased.

I visited Dr. Willenborg because of a bursa inflammation on my 5th metatarsal. He correctly diagnosed what was causing the problem and provided options for treatment. The non surgical option is what I am pursuing and it is working fine.

Dr Willenborg did tendon surgery on my ankle 2 years ago. He was patient and most accommodating, his nurses were nice and professional and the team’s front desk staff is excellent.

Wait time was only about 10 minutes. Dr. Willenborg explained in detail my issues and prescribed pt that is working out wonderfully.
