Not even a year after surgery in 2020 was told it had torn again 2021. Lost my career because heavy lifting at 31 years old! Finally seeking to get it repaired and new doctor says she drilled too wide. I need two surgeries to fix it. I haven't worked as a mechanic since 2022. I want my career back.

Hip Issues Finally Addressed
Dr. Stephanie Stephens is 'OUTSTANDING!!!' I couldn't be happier with care I have received from her and her team. I am so happy I found her. Easy to schedule an appointment and and get straight answers regarding the problem and the solution. I'm a little over two weeks out from surgery and am already feeling relief.

Amazing doctor that cares
Dr Stephanie Stephens is amazing! She is very relational with each patient. I hear her talking to all of her patients with care, concern and thoroughness to get to know each one of them personally! This is not a job but a calling for her. She repaired my cuff and labrum on both shoulders and cleaned up the bone spurs 5 yrs apart. I was extremely thrilled with the results on the first shoulder and didn't hesitate to have her do the second as well. She has also taken care of my parents by doing double knee replacements for both of them and now they are so active now because of it. We trust her and also trust that if she doesn't think surgery is needed she will tell you. When she repaired my knee 15 years ago we tried gel shots in the knee a few times first, but eventually had to get it repaired. My favorite thing is that upon request before surgery she prays with my family. Dr Stephens is truly a blessing for our family. You will not be disappointed with the care that you get from her!!

Lost trust in provider
I initially felt okay about my experience. However, I only saw Dr. Stephens twice...the day of surgery and the follow up a few days later. The rest of the time I was scheduled with the PA. After my surgery, I continued to have pain that periodically worsened. I went back 3 times and the last two times was told they really have no explanation for my continued pain. They said it probably was just inflammation. The pain has worsened and instead of going back again, I decided to see another doctor because I don't trust in Dr. Stephens and her PA any longer. It also is very difficult to actually get someone in the office on the phone. I actually had to call other locations to have them reach out to the Las Colinas office to call me back. I hate giving bad reviews but this unfortunately was my experience. The second star is provided only because support staff were primarily nice when I actually went into the office.

Personally had a terrible experience. They wanted me to have X-Rays even before the initial doctor visit, so be careful what you enter in your notes as there may be no doctor visit before taking X-rays . They haven't even asked if my conditions are still the same or not and my only conditions was knees popping. That was it. After taking X-Rays from Medical City of Las Colinas (same building so I am not sure if that was a way for them to make money or not), I sat in doctor's office for 45 minutes while they kept telling me the doctor will be with you shortly. It didn't happen, while I was already there for so long and decided to leave , the assistant said one of the doctors was sick and Dr. Stephens has to see his patients as well as her own patients, that is why it is taking this long. If a simple visit is going to take more than 2 hours, shouldn't they let the patients know in advance? Terrible experience

Dr. Stephanie Stephens is very professional, trustworthy and thorough with superb bedside manner. She performed two knee surgeries on my husband and follow-up care for issues with my knees. She's a great listener and teacher. We highly recommend her. We used to live in the North Dallas area. Now we travel from Houston to Dallas to receive her care. She's worth it.

Dr Stephens is an amazing surgeon. I first saw her after suffering for a year with an on the job injury. I was forced to see doctors at concentra medical and they did nothing. When I finally was able to see dr Stephens she reviewed my file and I had surgery within 7 days. Unless I point them out you can't see any scars. I have full use of my shoulder and absolutely no pain. i would highly recommend her. She is also very personable and listens when you talk.

Dr. Stephens seemed a perfect fit. I'd been diagnosed & have been in intense pain. I called them last Weds. explained to them that I was hurting badly and ready for surgery and was given an appointment for the following Mon. (today) at 2PM. But they needed to verify ins. & promised to call me back later that day. I called back late Weds. Thurs, & Fri. no response. Now an hour before the appt. they call me and say they don't accept out of network patients whatever happened to first do no harm?

I've had great service and a great experience over the past 6 years as a patient with Dr. Stephens. I trust her with the care of my knees (and any other part that may need her care!). I recently had bi-lateral knee replacement and couldn't be happier with the results.
