Dr. Michael Stiff, MD

Excellent doctor. No pain or problems of any kind with EGD and Colonoscopies.

I was experiencing stomach issues and went to Dr. Stiff for a Colonoscopy and Endoscopy. Its not often you find a great doctor that has great bed side manners and truly cares. I found that with Dr. Stiff. I went to the Westerville Endoscopy Center and because of the excellent staff and Dr. Stiff, a nerve racking and fearful procedure was made tolerable. I was in tears with fear and anxiety days before my appt. When I arrived to the center, I felt much better and less anxious due to the staff. When I was wheeled back to the procedure room, Dr. Stiff came in and talked about my symptoms, my concerns, and made sure I was completely comfortable before giving me the sleep drugs. After the procedure, Dr Stiff took time with my wife to explain the results (everything was good thank god) and answered her questions. Dr. Stiff, Thank you for being you. I am sad to hear your going to retire within the year but am sure its well deserved.

If it wasn't for him catching my disease as quickly as he did, who knows what would have happened. He's Wonderful! I have Crohn's and he has helped me get into remission and stay there for several years. He knows what he's talking about and I completely trust him with my life! He keeps on top of new treatments and informs me of these. He's even funny!! I just love him and his whole staff!

Excellent experience. He performed surgery on my dad and the entire experience from consultation , surgery, and follow ups were thoroughly explained and allowed time for questions.

Thankfully I haven't seen this dr now for almost 2 years, after he mis-diagnosed me and both before and after that he treated my symptoms with his self proclaimed psychology degree instead of listening and using his medical degree. Acted like everything was stress related and I wasn't complaining of stress, I realized the only stress I felt was every time I came to his office because he just really didn't listen or take symptoms seriously. I had cancer, not gastroenteritis. He's a quack!

Erudite, good listener,great communication skills,and committed to his patients. Would and have recommended him to family and friends. I am blessed to have him as my Dr. Professional including the staff especially Sherry.

I do not think I would recommend Dr. Stiff to any of my friends. He's knowledgeable, but does not seem to care. I have had reoccurring and worsening issues for about 2 years now, and it has no where near gotten better. Anytime I go to see him, he just prescribes antibiotics. His nurse is rude, and communicates annoyance with his patients (well, me...not so sure about other patients).

Dr Stiff is kind and compassionate. I had an issue that other doctors couldn't seem to get to the bottom of. He listened to me and didn't make me feel like my problem was trivial, as other doctors did. After spending more than than a half hour with me he even sat immediately down and typed a letter of explanation that I needed for my employer. I would highly recommend Dr. Stiff.
