Dr. Michael Rasansky, DO

I come in for my diabetic eye exams regularly and from the minute I enter the building until the time I leave staff is so friendly. Friendly staff and obviously a great doctor is what keeps patients coming back. I've been coming here for a little while now and I've never had any issues. Dr. Rasansky is friendly and very knowledgeable. Office always able to get me in when needed. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Dr. Rasansky is very pleasant and professional with a wonderful staff; very thorough examinations and diagnosis that led to cataract surgery, which was a very good experience and outcome. He takes the time to explain everything well as do his staff.

Dr. Rasansky was wonderful in the visits and the surgery. He is very friendly and caring and I will continue to pray for him to always do the wonderful jobs that he does. He is a wonderful eye doctor!

Prior to making an appt. With Switch Eye Center, I noticed my vision changing. My cheaters worked better than my glasses, and it was better to see without my glasses (if that makes sense). First thought was cateracts were progressing. I was partially right for one worsening in left eye. However, my prescription changed quite a bit 1.0 from my last visit. My prescription needed a big adjustment. I was very impressed by the time the staff took to examine my eyes and go over my medical records. As a patient of 20 plus years, the front desk staff has worked with me and are patient to meet my needs.

I made an emergency appointment for an infection that flared up around my eye. The receptionist was super sweet and was able to schedule me for the following day. The staff on the day of my appointment were all very friendly and in good spirits. Eye exams aren’t always fun, so it’s nice to be around good energy going into the room. Dr. Rasansky had great bedside manner and explained my diagnosis well. He answered all my questions and helped ease some of my stress. He even helped me make sure I got the cheapest rate for my prescriptions. Loved everything about my visit.

My first visit with him, I usually see Dr Switch. Dr. Rasansky was very personable which was a big plus. He explains things well and can ask any questions as the exam proceeds along. After he completes his procedure he will ask if you have any more questions for him. Finally he will tell you if and when he would like to see you again and for what reason.

Dr. Rasansky takes his time to explain issues with you. Also explained the problem droopy eyelids can cause. My previous doctors were at a large teaching university and they never mentioned it and I had been seeing them for years. The first time I met Dr. Rasansky he noticed it and talked about what could be done. Really nice guy and technicians.
