Find a different cardiologist
I wouldn’t wish this man on my worst enemy. I went to the effort to fill out their antiquated write it by hand patient history which he didn’t bother to read. How do I know? He was going to prescribe me a blood pressure med I already had listed that I was taking. Then he was going to change my meds. 24 hours later still not called in and we started to call asking why not. Apparently he calls the prescriptions in himself so if he isn’t around, it doesn’t happen. He was out of the office and left having never called them in as my BP spiked to 198-110. Then the office hung up on us. Find a better doctor, this one simply doesn’t care
