Excellent Care
Dr. Potter did my knee replacement and I have been very happy with the results. It has only been 3 weeks since my surgery and I amable to walk without joint pain. My incision looks great and I expect a faint scar instead of the big ugly one I had on my other knee with another surgeon. I’m pleased with our consult, surgery, and follow up care. His staff is friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend Dr. potter and his staff!

Great Surgeon
Dr. Michael Potter is excellent surgeon. I have had 2 total knee replacements at different times and have found Dr. Potter to be a very seasoned surgeon. I believe his work is impeccable. His stitching is excellent, I have very little scaring. Most people can't even see the incision site. I had a question after surgery, and it was a Holiday weekend. I called the number that was written on my papers, and he called me back with in 5 minutes and was apologetic that he had not called sooner. I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Potter, he answered all my questions before and after surgery. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a top-notch surgeon. You will be in good hands!

Do Not Go To Him
I had knee surgery and a lipoma removed 3.2 years ago and my knee and leg is still messed up. He is a joke for a Dr. Before I went everybody loved him. After surgery sitting in the waiting room everyone complained about him. We were all in pain worse than before surgery. He botched things up!

Dr. Potter quickly analyzed and diagnosed a tibial fracture and meniscus tear. However, the appointment was rushed and he didn’t explain the injury. I persisted and asked him to explain the diagnosis in a way I could understand it. I don’t doubt his abilities as a doctor. However, If you aren’t good at self-advocating with a doctor, I would go to someone else. His staff is very kind and courteous.

I have a displaced fracture in my toe. Dr. Potter was very rushed in the appointment and was positive that it would heal on its own in 6 weeks. 5 weeks into "healing" I had increased pain so I went to an urgent care to check on the breaks. They have not even remotely healed and are actually worse than what it was 5 weeks ago. He was rude and short with me. I felt that I annoyed him by being there even though I have some pretty serious breaks.

I saw Dr. Potter several times, and he never expressed concern or interest in my problems. I saw him often though-out a four month period and no improvement was made. He just kept trying the same thing even though I told him it wasn't working. He and his staff also assured me that my bills would be covered by my insurance. I still have to make payments on services that did not work.
