Dr Mudd’s THE BEST!!!
Dr Mudd has replaced a knee and a hip for me and both experiences were the same… Fantastic!! He answered any and all questions I had, explained everything in detail to me. He spends time getting to know your personality has an awesome bedside manor, is funny and really helps you feel at ease about your procedure. But most importantly he is a HIGHLY SKILLED surgeon!!! In my view he is the best!!!!

Non bed side manner
Doc immediately saw my prior knee replacement and set it was too big he arranged a new surgery It was in and out After that his nurse talks to you even if he’s the one you want to talk to. Got a God complex

The best doctor for my knee surgery
Dr. Mudd is an exceptional surgeon that diagnosed my knee problem with detailed prognosis. Not only did he perform the well received surgery, but his pre-surgical advice also improved my current health status. Dr. Mudd helped me down a path that has changed my life to share with my new knee replacement. My admiration for his direct and to-the-point advice was well taken and received. His follow-up has been an asset to me. Dr. Mudd has placed me on the road to full recovery and use of my leg as it was prior to my surgical set-back. In closing, Dr. Mudd is an exception surgeon among his peers and I will continue to recommend him and his expertise to those in need.

Highly Recommed
Dr Mudd was friendly, listened and was informative. Had a total hip replacement and never been more pleased. My husband was very impressed before, during and after the surgical procedure. Staff was responsive to calls and helpful. I definitely recommend Dr Mudd and Orthopedic Associates to everyone I come in contact with!

Dr Mudd did an incredible job at giving me th info I needed for my first hip replacement at 44. I’m very active and with his care and expertise I have healed very quickly with minimal pain and no complications . He is thorough and informative . A great surgeon for anyone needing a hip replacement.

Dr. Mudd replaced both of my knees (bilateral total knee replacement) at the same time this past June 2017. He and his staff of caregivers (especially Erin) were awesome and tended to my every question and need for insurance paperwork to be completed. The pre-op team, surgery team, post-op team, hospital (MoBap) staff were all great. They did their job very well, I did everything they asked of me, and my rehab and recovery progressed smoothly and I was able to return to work in 6 weeks. Thanks

I met Dr. Christopher D. Mudd as an emergency room patient at Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis, MO after I slipped and fell and broke 2 bones in my ankle; he was the surgeon on call. Dr. Mudd explained in detail what was going to take place before, during and after surgery; he listened to all of my concerns, answered all of my questions and put me at ease. He did excellent work on my ankle and I had minimum pain after surgery. I would definitely recommend Dr. Christopher D. Mudd!!

My knees were so bad that no other doctor would consider working on them. Dr. Mudd specializes in problem knees/hips. He did a wonderful job with new joints and straightening my legs. The scars are minimal and I am looking forward to living my life without pain.

I began seeing Dr. Mudd because my knees were killing me, I ended up having both of my knees replaced on 12/14/16 and within 10 weeks I was able to return to my job that is very physical with no problems! All of my questions were answered and I felt very comfortable requesting that both knees be done at the same time!! Will definitely be referring everyone I know that needs an ortho to Dr. Mudd!!!

Dr. Mudd was able to repair a bad hip replacement that I had done approx 6 years ago. It was a metal on metal hip that caused metal shavings to collect in the joint and had caused damage to the bone!!! I went from being in constant pain and walking with a walker (barely), to being pain free and walking on my own with no walker or cane!!!

Dr. Mudd was our surgeon after my wife suffered her second fall and later a third fall. He replaced a broken hip femur after fall #2 and a shattered lower femur after fall #3. Both required special "cable wrapping" as the bone was not stable. 8 months later she is cleared for walking and standing . Dr Mudd is both easy and fun to work with as my wife has a good sense of humor and his easy bedside and office manor are greatly appreciated. We recommend him without any reservations.

Dr. Mudd fixed my knee that had been replaced I 2012. I became disabled. Thanks to Dr. Mudd, I am finally on my way to recovery. His whole staff and himself are wonderful.
