For the last several years I have been living with crippling pain, down my legs and my back. i had spent years looking for help and had doctors tell me they didn't know what was wrong with me or i was to young to help or to do physical therapy which my body was unable to do. from er to er and doctors from the age of 12 -20 i had started to loose hope, my body couldn't take the pain anymore and started giving out. i couldn't stand on my own i could barley walk. i was in indescribable pain. i was contemplating not so good choices. i decided to go to northern light walk in. i was given an mri that revealed i needed surgery i was sitting in the waiting room hopeless when Dr.Paci pulled me into another room and introduced himself as my surgeon. I can confidently say he saved my life. Because the months before meeting him i had no life. i wasnt able to do anything. Dr.Paci operated on my spine. and within 2 days i was walking. something i genuinely didn't think i would be able to do again. The severe pain. completely gone, the numbness, gone. The depression, gone. Dr. Paci saved a life that day. I will be forever grateful for him and his team. When nobody could help me. Dr. Paci could. I cannot thank him enough. Dr. Paci, Thankyou for everything you have done for me. You could of told me I was only 20 and needed to wait longer, you could of told me i needed pt. but you saw the MRI and knew you had to save me. Thankyou

My daughter was born prematurely in Bangor at only 24 weeks weighing 1lb 12oz & eventually suffered from hydrocephalus (when the ventricles in your head are not allowing the spinal fluid to travel properly) so the head grows until a shunt is placed successfully. Dr. Paci performed this extremely risky surgery to place a shunt when our daughter was only 3lb - It was also her first time leaving the NICU. He does not sugarcoat things or make you believe in miracles, that's for certain, but to us he is a miracle worker and quite frankly the sole reason our daughter is alive and thriving today. There is no question he is the best in his field.

I'm Denis I'm 43 having severe back pain and 6 Pryor back surgery that was done in portland me. my last surgery was a fusion very much the same surgery that Dr Paci did. It took 3 years and a load of pain meds to get better. When i first meet with Dr Paci he told me i was only getting 10 days of pain meds i looked at my wife with a very worry look lol!! SO I went with it got my fusion done. the 3frst days was hard then each day got better. Its been 1 1/2 weeks and the pain is almost gone. ????
