This man does not do a thorough exam and history. He decided to chalk up my issue to a mental problem instead of what my real problem was. He did not even ask if I had a history of migraines. I was not used to this type of migraine. I was having a complicated migraine. He was indifferent. He ran blood work. When all was said and done and he made his diagnosis and all I got from his office was "if you think you need to see him you can schedule another appointment." Heck no! I know something was wrong and it wasn't made up and I was not functioning and there was nothing going on in my life for it to be a mental problem. I suffered with extreme and life altering pain and physical disability for four months until I found a real headache specialist that put me on medications that broke my migraine and I could finally walk again. I do not recommend this man. I say run for your life. He is not worth your time or money. If you have migraines he is not the doctor for you.

terrible, said i missed appointment but was there 30 min early. lady that gave all paperwork to fill out told me when was time for my appointment that they would re-schedule because they didn't have my records from other hospital. couple weeks later had a mini stroke went to highland park and was admitted, next day mitchell came to my room and basically called me a liar and said i had missed my appointment. He told me that i didn't have a stroke and was willing to have someone come to my house for physical therapy. he and another dr who's name i can't pronounce released me without even finding out why i couldn't walk and why the left side of my face and the whole rightside of my body from neck down is numb. that was ten days ago and nothing has changed, have appointment with real dr next week

Dr mitchell is the best. I am very thankful he took the time and did proper tests and sent me for mri. I had tumor inside my spinal cord.. i maybe paralyzed today , or possibly not alive otherwise. . Id recommend to anyone who needs a neurologist. And, he also listens and has a great personality. That helps too :)
