Dr. Matthews takes time to ask pertinent questions and listens to my questions and concerns. He emphasizes whole health including my emotional, physical, mental and spiritual wellness. Both prevention and maintenance of good health are important to him. But most of all, Dr. Matthews is a true professional and a great human being!

Dr Mathews is a very caring, kind doctor, who listens to whatever concerns you might have and makes recommendations for medication, lab work, x-rays, or referral to a specialist as appropriate. He is very thorough in going through test results and making sure that next steps are understood. His office is very quick to respond to forwarding on test results or records to other Drs. when the unexpected surfaces. Highly recommend!

Has been my doctor for over 20 years and I have nothing but positive things to say about him and his staff. They are helpful, thoughtful, efficient, but never feel like they are rushing me in or out. Doc always takes the time to listen and always provides thoughtful educated feedback to me on sources of nagging problems and ways to improve. I also like the Christian approach in the office.

Dr. Matthews and his staff are very capable, efficient and knowledgeable. I have been a patient at his Olathe office since I moved here 3 years ago ... everyone ... schedulers, receptionists, nurses and lab personnel are top notch ... I call this practice "the best in the west ... east, north and south too"

Dr. Matthews has been our family physician for a few years now. I appreciate how Dr. Matthews treats my kids. He listens and instructs them in a professional but loving manner. On my recent visit, Dr. Matthews ordered a test that saved my life due to the findings. Dr. Matthews was paying attention to my symptoms that he thought further testing was warranted. He even prayed with me as I was anxious and scared about the next steps.
