New patient review
I recently had my first visit with Dr. Nguyen, and I have to say it was an excellent experience. As a 51-year-old male who historically avoids doctor visits, I was a bit apprehensive going in. However, Dr. Ngyuen immediately put me at ease with her calm demeanor and professionalism. Her approachability and genuine care made me feel comfortable and reassured, which is rare for someone like me who doesn't typically go to the doctor. I highly recommend Dr. Nguyen to anyone looking for a physician.

Terrible Physician and Office
Due to being sick, had to reschedule an annual. Was unable to get an appointment for 4 months. it was past a year and she would not refill my necessary meds. iIasked her nurse to ask Dr for any other suggestions. The nurse did not do that, instead told thepractice manager I was mad and she called yelling in the phone about her practice policies. I tried to reach Dr through the patient portal and she has practice manager call me again and said I was talking down on her nurse and terminated my care. I tried to reach the Dr again through prortal and never heard from the doctor. She, again, had her practice manager email back advising they were terminating my care. I have been out of meds several days by this time and having to lok for a new provider and get a new patient appt. They shared my medical througout the office with people who did not have a need to know. This office is very unprofessional and would not recommend them to anyone. Do not put your life in this doctors hands.

Is she ever in office?
I had an annual check up scheduled a year in advance and got a voicemail the day before the appointment, cancelling, because she would not be in the office. At my first physical with her, she based my overall health off of my labs and vital signs, and did not physically assess me. I also had my young adult daughter seeing her, and she’s having some health concerns, and tried to get an appointment - the soonest she can get in for an acute issue is in 2 months.

Terrible Dr.
Went to see her. Charged me 140 after the visit when all I needed was to be referred. The offices she works at have terrible receptionists. But that's what you get when you go to blue springs or Independence.

Had Dr. Nguyen for OB care while she was a resident at Truman Medical Center. She's very knowledgeable and sweet, however she rushed through the appointments and was hard to get a hold of outside of appointments for paperwork. I also had an issue with lab orders and insurance in which she responded that I should go through with the lab appointment and figure out the cost later. I also was seeing a nutritionist for care with gestational diabetes in which she demanded I get done at TMC only.
