Review is for overal experience with office
Just paid $1000s out of pocket because office coded what I thought was a preventative procedure as diagnostic. My wife had same referral, same procedure, same facility, same results, different doctor, and was coded preventative and insurance (same insurance) paid 100%. Insurance company, with my full medical history in front of them, called Maneta's office, to get them to change coding. Said they would pay 100% if office would just change it. Maneta's office refused. Charges were significantly higher than what insurance paid for exact same procedure for my wife. Was never informed coding would be different and that I would have to pay out of pocket before procedure. To this day no one from Maneta's office has been able to explain to me why my wife's was preventative and mine was diagnostic. Insurance company said hands are tied since Maneta's office refuses to change coding. Follow up for me is 3.5 years, for my wife 7 years, despite same results. Will be switching to my wife's doctor.

I think his reviews are some what bogus!
IBDGirl in Bumpass, VA – Jan 23, 2019 said they have been using him for 40 years and that was in 2019! Heck he is 52 years old!!!! So she has been seeing him since he was 7 years old and it was posted in 2019! Plus three people found this post helpful. Whats going on here?

Great doctor n staff. Dr Manetas takes his time to explain everything to you where u can understand. I’ve been going to him I think about 15 yrs now. He cares about my anxieties n really help me n assures me he will take care of me and gives me a little med before my tests.

I love Dr. Manetas's style. He is funny, easy to talk to, he listens to you, and is the best GI I have ever seen, and I have been seeing them for 40 years! I always have a good experience in his office. His staff if fabulous, the atmosphere just walking in is so calm and friendly. As soon as you open the door they acknowledge you and the last thing you hear is them telling you to have a great day. They have a professional manner but are able to laugh at a joke and make one back, doc included.
