Performed angiogram on my husband and never spoke with me after procedure was completed; even gave him benefit of doubt that he was busy with other patients/procedures - he left hospital at end of day (about 430pm) and hospital staff surprised he never talked with me regarding results of procedure. Never heard from him until office staff called me 5 days later for a follow up appointment in his office. I fired him through the staff member who called me. This doctor has bad bedside manners and I consider him unprofessional. I would not recommend him to care for me or any other family members/friends.

He ordered extensive tests on me. I had numerous appointments for those tests and for follow up appointments with Dr. Gen cancelled. Finally, I got a call on the day of my second rescheduled follow up appointment cancelling the appointment. The RECEPTIONIST told me "Tests were fine. See you in a year!" That's it! Nothing from the doctor. So what about the "your EKG is not normal--you need thousands of dollars worth of tests. Take time off work and go through anxiety and discomfort?

Dr. Gen is a wonderful doctor, if you can get in to see him. His office staff seems to be hired to prevent you, not only from getting an appointment but also in ensuring that important heart prescription drugs are available. My family member has been without a vital heart medication for over a week now because of the office failure to get required insurance prior authorization, despite the fact that the medication has been taken and prescribed for over 3 years now. My advice, don't go to this office if you have a choice.

Dr Gen is extremely knowledgeable and on top of his game! He welcomed me into his office after having problems finding a cardiologist that would take my insurance. He is gentle and kind and took ample time with me to answer any questions I had! I will recommend him to everyone!

If you can get thru the quagmire of phone tags you may be lucky enough to get an appointment! But beware, the staff seems to be specially trained to block you at every curve! Good luck!

I only saw him twice in the almost 2 years I have been going there, was in Fresno Comm Hsp overnight for observation, he was notified by my daughters I was in there, and frightened, neither he nor his PA came or called me even after being discharged, was disappointed they didn't even follow up..then after my last apt, the SPECT test, the girl at the apt desk was in such a hurry, she was scheduling me for an ultra sound I had NO knowledge about when the paper clearly said follow-up, very rude

Dr. Gen is kind, professional, willing to explain things if you ask. He is busy because there are so many heart patients so you will see his Physicians Assistant or Nurse Practioner a lot but he has good ones working for him. He is caring and will do all he can for you.

Dr. Gen helped save my life. He is amazingly knowledgeable; has read my test results and medical history before every appointment; is prepared to see me when I arrive; he LISTENS, and gives his full attention to even the most minor of details; and his experience has led me to specialists who assisted in a diagnosis for my very rare condition. He's a confident, competent physician without the ego. I could not recommend him more highly.
